Refocus: App Blocker & Limits

My favourite app.

The app has helped me a lot with reducing screen time, so it definitely is helpful and I’ve recommended it to some friends. But I have a problem. For some reason the app won’t count my screen time anymore, it says I’ve only used my phone for 37 seconds every day this week. I didn’t have this problem before. Is there some way to fix this?

Has helped me in lowering my screen activity a lot, allowing me to read more books!

Jeg vil ikke si at appen er morsom, men den er veldig nyttig og gjør det den skal. Mye enklere å legge fra seg iPaden på kvelden med en app som blokkerer alle de andre appene. Er også veldig praktisk at man kan sette blokkerings funksjonen på pause.

Without any payments, this is the way to go. There’s a setting to make you stop and breathe when you try to stop the blocking process. I think it’s pretty great. Useful for studying or trying to sleep without that need to check apps. I’m sure I’ve recommended it to multiple friends at this point. :)

I use this app in conjunction with BePresent, and the combination is great. In the past 4 weeks, I’ve gone from 4hr30 average to 1hr10. Given, I made my phone boring by making it black & white, as well as deleting most apps, but refocus really helps with limiting your screen time. If you’re in a moment of weakness, don’t worry. Your apps will be blocked and it won’t be an issue.

The app really works! I recommend it! It helped me manage my time.
