I’ve been watching this app for a while considering will it make the mark clean it for a few days but it sounds really good very good start I’ll give it a four star rating Auv3 missing

Useful app!

Our drummer was ill so Sly Dunbar stepped in! Great selection of sounds and fills, and easy to program on the fly. Great to be able to export too. Features I would love to see: Save and rename all settings and whole beat/song. This would be far more helpful for band rehearsals. Also, ability to type in tempo. Would also be great to see more DAW compatibility, but overall this is a really useful app.

Best Reggae Drum App

I was apprehensive when I bought this app .I had to get something to cover when our drummer couldn’t make rehearsal and this app is outstanding . Love the beats and the ease of use. I highly recommend this app

Just the job

I’m just beginning to explore this app, but as a solo musician playing live, this has features I’m looking for mainly: good sounds, advance fill button, tap speed, custom patterns and other customisations. The custom pattern save feature has problems saving. This appears to be a bug in the software that isn’t present in the rock version of this app. I hope this gets fixed soon. Update: I first began using this app with my iPhone X and encountered a bug saving grooves; the iPad version however is works fine to edit and save your own grooves. It’s also possible to play an external drum kit via midi-out should you need different sounds. I’m pleased that you can set up songs to quickly recall drum patterns and tempo looping with or without fills. This is my go-to app for automated drumming.

And well executed too. Maybe a pricey proposition but then I couldn't make this.

Unpleasant and neglected

The sounds are trashy, the interface is badly designed, inflexible and outdated, and the application has been neglected. I could see that this developer uses an identikit approach to churning out multiple apps, and that is never a good sign, but going on several positive reviews, I gave it a try. Al I can say is that the people who rated this app highly have not listened to reggae, let alone the reggae drummers whose names are used on it. I am deleting this app now and will be requesting a refund.

Best kits of the series

Great but would be lovely if we could have these kits available in the other apps. In particular The funk drummer app would sound great with some of these very natural sounding kits
