Love the way they evaluate and verify the reasons for each transfer. I wanted to make a transfer for a large amount and I provided all necessary documents to Remitly. I also requested a higher limit and they approved it. I love the way they handle customer requests instead of others who just simply block their account. Nice job Remitly!

After providing all documents still they want more. In UAE, only emirates ID required to send money any where in the world. But this people wants resident address. They dont know people are staying in sharing accommodations and i am also working in a reputed exchange house and i know the all requirements. You can in any exchange in uae they will just ask your emirates ID. If this yr process so this app will not survive in uae. The rates are also very less as compare to markets and other apps.

I love this app but this service just ain’t it. I switched to wise because every so often I have to provide same info again and again to remitly even though I have verified account and a very high limit. And they put such measly amounts on holds. Ya sure bro, if I want to launder money, I would surely just send 100-200 dollar in 2-3 months. Does that make any sense? I feel like their hold up process is too inefficient, in that every time they are asking so much info for couple of hundred dollars as if I am wiring $50,000. It’s just not worth the hassle IMO, cuz they won’t save it and ask for same thing all over again next time. It’s pathetic really jumping so many hoops for something so simple. Just use Wise or some other service.
