The ReSound Tinnitus Relief™ app uses a combination of sounds and relaxing exercises that aim to distract your brain from focusing on tinnitus. Over time the brain learns to focus less on the tinnitus.
The app lets you manage your personal library of soundscapes to be used for sound therapy, one of the most common therapies to minimize the effects of tinnitus. Either listen to the default soundscapes of create your own from a collection of environmental sounds and small pieces of music.
To help you cope with your tinnitus, Relief also provides different activities to relax and get better sleep such as guided meditations, breathing exercises and imagery.
The Learn section will teach you more information about what is tinnitus, what are the causes of tinnitus, common therapies as well as tips to help you better deal with the effects of your tinnitus.
My Relief will help you to create a personalized plan to teach you manage your tinnitus. Just answer some questions about your tinnitus and the issues that bother you the most, and ReSound Tinnitus Relief will create a weekly plan to help you train managing your tinnitus.
Tinnitus suffers often also have some degree of hearing loss, so we added a hearing test for all users to get a quick hearing test result directly in the app and guidance on what to do next, in case a hearing loss is detected.

The subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Have set my plan, completed the seperate parts, have got a plan, when I try to download my specific sound which will show with a yellow star, I get an OPERATION TIMED OUT MESSAGE. Drag down and try again. I HAVE ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS and continually get the same message.
I have tinnitus but good hearing. I’ve tried to find assistance but can only find info for hearing aid users. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE 🙏

Relief
I’ve been suffering with high pitched squealing tinnitus for some time now with my focus and sleep wrecked. As soon as set my relief sounds up and started listening, first on speaker and then on earphones, I could feel the tension in my scalp and neck drop. It was that noticeable! Just the distraction from the squealing was like a miracle. Looking forward to using it to help my sleep🙏 So far a winner from me👍
Issues
In principle this is a great app but has a big flaw. The app will stop playing if my phone goes to sleep or I use another app unlike my (Apple) music app which will continue to play despite being asleep. Therefore I can’t use it mask my Tinnitus to help me sleep at night
Game changer
Love this app, distracts the brain from the tinnitus and you can pick a combination of sounds and volumes that work for you. If the app randomly starts to stop playing when your phone locks or you switch to a different app, you need to kill the app and reopen it & it shouldn’t fix it. Learnt that from Google from people who were having the same issue with Spotify 10 years ago.
Love it but recently it’s being odd
Love this app, I personally use it to wind down before bed and then to sleep to, however tonight as I’ve tried to us it the sounds will only play when I have the app open. If I change the app, it stops playing and won’t play even if I press play on the mini player.
