Reverse: 1999 is a 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG developed by Bluepoch.

On the last day of 1999, the "Storm" fell upon the world. You witnessed an era reversed beneath the rising raindrops. Defying all reasons, what unfolds in front of you is the world of an era long past.

As the Timekeeper, observer of eras, you are free to travel through these eras after each "Storm." With the aid of Sonetto, a powerful Arcanist and ally from the Foundation, your mission is to travel through eras to where the "Storm" is most active, find other Arcanists who can sense the coming "Storm," and save them from being "sifted out" of the timeline.

Surprisingly Good

Decided to give this another chance after being initially turned off by the chibi art style for the combat. I’m surprised by how well written the story is. It reminds me a lot of Disco Elysium which is absolutely not something I would expect from a gacha game. Thoughtfully diverse cast of characters and really intricate lore. The devs are putting their English, Psych and Philosophy degrees to good use, it seems.

Very f2p friendly

There’s so many aspects of the game that make it so entertaining. The game is extremely f2p friendly, making it easy to collect 6* with a guaranteed one at 70 pulls. However it does balance it out with the lower accumulation of receiving drops. The event stories are SO GOOD. The stories are amazing and have their own twists and turns that keep players engaged. The main event gameplay and mini games are also just as interesting and challenging. What sold me was the cultural diversity. Theres characters released each version with different ethnicities and themes tied to their events. They are well designed and voiced with authentic accents. So far as to what I know, there is Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, French, British, American, Polish, Italian, and German characters.

Nice story, but we need more daily and weekly clear drops as well as more mays to get moment of dissonance and brief cacophony

normally I don’t do review sbut this game is really good! So many cute character designs and nice stories! But I think personally it will be funner if you can play with random players but other than that this is so good!
