Someone at Giant needs to pay attention to this app and fix it. To produce quality, expensive bikes with fancy capabilities rendered ineffective by this crappy app is shameful. Cmon Giant get on this - it’s not up to your good name. You spent years and millions of $ building your reputation, don’t let this app destroy your investment. As a start, combine this app with the Neostrack app. Enable sorting, graphing and printing capabilities for starters. So I’ve now gone for over 60 rides using this app, each time making sure that it’s linked to the power meter via Bluetooth. I have a grand total of 14 rides recorded by the app (that’s one in 4 rides recorded). The app continually loses its connection and records nothing as a result. Big time unimpressed here. Time to look elsewhere, for my next bike too. UPDATE Oct 28/22: after all my frustration, now this app won’t even open. I’m running iOS 16.1 on an iPhone Pro Max 11. I tap on the app which opens for a split second and immediately shuts down. I guess, for that, I should be eternally grateful. This app is a complete lost cause. It’s telling that, of all apps by this developer, only one has 3 stars and all others are rated two or less. I think they’re in the wrong business.
Good work, Giant! You managed to make a bad app even worse.
No longer working on iPhone, please fix
I was quite happy to get an integrated Giant power meter on my new propel advanced…until I had the experience of riding it with the app. It always crashes midway through the workout, you loose all your data…if you’re a serious cyclist , don’t waste any time with that system and go get yourself a quark system…ruins the whole experience of riding a high end bike for me!
Worked flawlessly on my iPhone 8+ running iOS 13.4. Seamless process to update/calibrate my Giant PowerPro power meter.
Can’t identify power pro after iOS update.
Just got an ultegra power pro R8000 installed yesterday and it won’t connect to the app at all. Waste of time. Very frustrating.
Since ios14 update the app just crashes immediately upon starting
Doesn’t even give you the state of the battery, so you don’t know when to charge the pm. Fails to identify what firmware version in the app, yet will update it every time. Have been unable to do a calibration in the app of the powermeter. For all the resources Giant has, they didn’t put anything into this app. I get more people information about the powermeter when using other apps, like TrainerRoad.
