Decent app but clumsy
This app is a great tool to help me stay on top of the garden. But simple tasks take too much effort and time. Moved a whole nursery to the garden? Expect to do a lot of clicking. Needs to be streamlined.

I’m pretty impressed by this app considering Rise is a device company and not a software company. Two things are on my wish list: device notifications when there are new tasks, and don’t tell me to add nutrients until the water is low enough. The second one is important— the app tells me to add nutrients plus 3 gallons of water when there is still 3 gallons of water left. If I follow these directions, I would overflow the system.
App and Rise garden are constantly having connection issues, water level sensor on rise garden never works right. The app is not recommending the correct amount of fertilizer for the plants. Severe micronutrient deficiencies. Had to buy pH and EC pens to measure water quality. Spent extra money for the convenience of the app and it doesn’t work.
Crashes constantly. Why ‘fix’ something that wasn’t broken? It’s certainly broken now. Totally unusable.
The new version of this app will not connect to our garden, I have followed all the N app instructions.
I love being able to grow my food year round! The app is awesome and I love the reminders about then to add nutrients as well as water. The helpful information on when to prune and harvest each plants is great too. I have other hydroponic gardens and this app is so much better than the competition!!!
The app is a great way to plan, visualize, and maintain your garden! It has so much built in information that even if you’ve never gardened before, you will follow along very easily. The app let you know when it’s time to water, add nutrients, and even when it’s time to clean your garden! With adding some weekly readings from from the pH and EC sensor that comes with the garden, the app also let’s you know how much nutrients to add, taking the guess work of hydroponics out. The app also keeps track of the plants age, estimates the growth stage and tells you what you need to do at each step along the way. The app can also track plants you have in the nursery and is seamless to move plants around from nursery to garden or around in the garden itself. And as if this wasn’t all enough, the app lets you know the health benefits of each plant and offers recipe suggestions! Even as an experienced gardener, I appreciate all the app has to offer. Sometimes life is a little busy and having a notification to add nutrients to my garden in a nice reminder! In the year I have used the app, I haven’t experienced and problems with it.
Downloaded on three various devices in our home. Freezes on homepage. The garden itself is awesome but it’s sucks we can’t use the cool app features. Have sent message to company to address issue.
