RPG Sounds Reviews

Molto buona ma non perfetta

Charlie Mahler on

Italy

App molto buona anche se l’equivalente Fantasy ha qualche opzione in più (es. il generatore dadi incluso). Poco chiara la procedura per aggiungere la musica personale non attraverso iTunes. Sarebbe utile il fade in/out opzionale, assente. Very good app even if the Fantasy equivalent has a few more options (e.g. the dice generator included). Unclear the procedure to add personal music not through iTunes. Optional fade in/out would be useful but it’s missing.

Nice!

It’s a great app and it doesn’t need any purchases for being good. I hope this app will maintain the quality.

Hey guys, any chance we could make the volume slider longer? A bit closer to how it was before?

12/10, been using it for years

I’ve been using this app for close to 3 years now. The ability to mix and match sounds, and even import your own, AND control the volume of each track is amazing. I made most of the music for my campaign, and being able to import it was invaluable to setting the theme for the whole campaign—having variations of the villain’s theme ready at the drop of a hat, while ominous thunder rolls in the background lowly, super cool. Definitely one of the best purchases for GMs. FEATURE REQUEST: One thing i would love (I have no idea how hard it is to implement) is to be able to save the volume levels when you save a scene. Sometimes, for example, the ambient noise is a bit loud and overshadows the music. It would be nice to save, the scene but have it so that the crowd sounds or whatever aren’t as much of a jumpscare.

Hahahaha monthly subscription service

I was to DM our campaign, the first time DM’ing and the second time playing a ttrpg, and this was a godsend.

Great customer service

Imbilly57 on

I’ve had a great experience with this app so far and I’ve used it as a portable soundboard for several sessions of RPGs with my friends. Overall the user interface and controls are extremely user friendly and intuitive. I was about to easily load custom sounds on through my computer. After the most recent update several of the custom sounds I was using started looping and I sent a email to customer support. They responded almost immediately with potential solutions and helped me troubleshoot the problem.

I DM for young children as part of my job, and have been struggling for some time now to keep them engaged. The ambiance from this app is incredible and is perfect for keeping the action steady and the drama heavy.
