Hey guys, any chance we could make the volume slider longer? A bit closer to how it was before?
I’ve been using this app for close to 3 years now. The ability to mix and match sounds, and even import your own, AND control the volume of each track is amazing. I made most of the music for my campaign, and being able to import it was invaluable to setting the theme for the whole campaign—having variations of the villain’s theme ready at the drop of a hat, while ominous thunder rolls in the background lowly, super cool. Definitely one of the best purchases for GMs. FEATURE REQUEST: One thing i would love (I have no idea how hard it is to implement) is to be able to save the volume levels when you save a scene. Sometimes, for example, the ambient noise is a bit loud and overshadows the music. It would be nice to save, the scene but have it so that the crowd sounds or whatever aren’t as much of a jumpscare.
No, just no
I love using this in my dnd games As a DM it allows me to set and control the easily.
I was to DM our campaign, the first time DM’ing and the second time playing a ttrpg, and this was a godsend.
I’ve had a great experience with this app so far and I’ve used it as a portable soundboard for several sessions of RPGs with my friends. Overall the user interface and controls are extremely user friendly and intuitive. I was about to easily load custom sounds on through my computer. After the most recent update several of the custom sounds I was using started looping and I sent a email to customer support. They responded almost immediately with potential solutions and helped me troubleshoot the problem.
I DM for young children as part of my job, and have been struggling for some time now to keep them engaged. The ambiance from this app is incredible and is perfect for keeping the action steady and the drama heavy.
This is honestly one of the best apps I have ever used. Its easy to navigate and has most things that a Gm could want. I have been using the free version so a little under 2 years and recently decided I would buy the pro. It was very much worth the money. Multiple sounds and atmospheres is fantastic and the addition to add custom sounds is great though it is not that easy. The instructions could use some updating. Anyone who reads this I would highly recommend you use the free version for as long as you like and to see if you would like to invest. To the developers I would ask that you add some more battle sounds; wardrums, horns, and chants would be a great start.
This well made sound board makes a brilliant baseline for all of my sessions. The single purchase was well worth it, and I hope to the gods they keep it that way!
This app has probably the best library of RPG soundboards out there. LOVE the dungeon sounds and LOVE the Dynamic sounds. And the fact that I can upload my own sounds? I want to kiss the developer for this. Unfortunately it fails in the most important aspect necessary to a DM - easy access to sounds on the fly. I have my iPad with keyboard open to this app. Someone opens a treasure chest. I want to tap a big button that says "open chest" and then tap another big button that says "coin sounds". But there are not big buttons. Instead there are three layers of menus that I have to scroll through to get to one sound and then another. That would kill the moment. The app allows me to save my favorite sounds, but do they go to a big screen for ease of use? No. Instead they appear as small buttons (so small that their entire names don't show) on a single line in the middle of the screen. And then I have to side scroll on that line to find the button, all the while pressing the wrong sounds because these buttons are barely larger than your fingertip. All the useful buttons are forced to share half the screen at all times. This app needs a serious face lift. Please allow us to create custom sound boards. Like an actual board with large button icons maybe an inch large and sorted by color/type with a big "loop" toggle button on the ambient and music ones. It's okay if I have to scroll on that screen, just so long as everything is easily visible and accessible.
