There's a limited amount of swipe you can make in a day (10-15 not quite sure). Sometimes none of them are my type and I end up just waiting a full day to swipe again after few swipes per day because I don't have premium... I understand that like any other dating apps, Salt wants to make money. But knowing that the Christian community is not a the biggest niche, why not make it more accessible until it becomes renowned in the Christian community? Personally it doesn't makes me interested in staying or even getting a premium account knowing that with such limited swipes per day, (with none of them being my taste), why should I even go premium? If this could change, I would gladly change the review👍🏼 This I just my point of view and I appreciate that you guys made a Christian dating app!

In todays time, there’s a lot of uncertainty when it comes to online dating. As Temptations are a constant battle. It’s good to see a dedicated Faith based app that pushes more for true love with God lead relationships. And sure as others have pointed out there isn’t many people up here in Canada, I was still able to find someone to talk to and it’s been going good so far! I like that the app isn’t locked to one denomination as well, I think it’s healthy for those of other denominations to meet and discuss faith and to grow from those experiences together with God. Overall it’s a great app with great potential, and I for am excited to see this opportunity blossom =)

You could miss the free filtering system when you first sign up as its not on the page you swipe. I’d suggest to just put both tabs on the exploring page. Also I actually like very few swipes idea for men, the women should have unlimited swipes and not be able see their likes. Also separate messages from their matches and from randoms. Girls are flooded with attention on these things it makes I'm sure this would idea would help out with it.

Don’t use this app unless you don’t mind being matched up with people in different countries. You must pay to search with filters.

This app has better quality of people, compared to other Christian dating apps. I’ve had nothing but positive interactions with fellow Christ followers.

So the app functions great. The people on it are real. Some are true Christians (I think) most are culture Christians or Charismatics. I have matched with a few people and they seem to be genuine. Here is the problem though. The app creators are word of faith charismatics. Which by definition are not saved as instead of following the Bible they pursue and promote all manner of heretical positions such as blasting you with coffee mug unbiblical christian slogans when you open the app. I literally have to look away as to not be angered by the lies and heresy. Things like “The Devil’s lies have no power over you” “You are more then an overcomer” like first what lies of Satan? You are implying that satan has access to your mind and lies to you. Where in the Bible are you getting that from? Did you not know you are blaspheming when you account the things ascribed to God and his power to Satan? Literal blasphemy. And their entire staff lives like that. So the charismatic unbiblical and perhaps unsaved nature of the app creators is a problem. They would be much better placing scriptures there. And preferably the actual bible: KJV Aside from this however, the app itself is probably the best app out there compared to the rest. Unfortunately I have not found someone yet who is worth pursuing. But I have met a few interesting women so far. I doubt these words will change the app. But if your a true reserved and chaste Christian woman, be prepared to blasted by culture christianity until at least you find me ;)

The app itself is great- I really like the variety of prompts for questions and felt like I was able to capture an authentic snapshot of myself to share while building my profile. I also appreciate that I can engage with people pretty well using the free version. The premium option has good added features too. The Table feature is very cool. It’s a neat way to discuss/hear about topics related to dating and faith, while also giving users a chance to get to know each other in a more organic setting. I’m giving the app 4 stars instead of 5 because it is still relatively new in Canada, so there aren’t a ton of users yet. (With premium you can see profiles from all across the globe, but if you’re looking for more local profiles it is a bit limited.) The framework is there, and I think as more people start to use SALT it will grow into a great app for meeting fellow Christians.

More than just a dating app! The team at Salt seems to be really committed to growing the app as well as Christian global community, especially for singles. I LOVE the new Table talks feature, and have enjoyed the community there! It’s originally based in the UK(?), with quite a large amount of people in the US as well as around the globe, and it seems to continue to grow. The premium features are nice and may increase your matches, though not necessary to enjoy the app. I’ve had both. I’ve met a lot of great people! Less percentage live in Canada at the moment, but it’s expanding. The quality of profiles are also much better than other Christian apps (or otherwise). Well done, Salt!
