Description
SBI Secure OTP is an OTP generation App for verifying or authenticating online banking transactions done through SBI Internet Banking and Yono Lite SBI App.
Customer can generate Online OTP through this app with Internet connection.
One time registration with your INB credentials is required for using the App. Service provider independent, hassle free OTP service is now available to you.
Registration process:
- Download and open SBI Secure OTP app, enter username and select SIM 1 or SIM 2 to register SBI Secure OTP application. No SIM selection required in case of single SIM. User should have SIM Card to send out the messages.
- A message will be shown on the screen regarding sending an SMS from the device for validating mobile number.
- Click on ‘Proceed’ button and an SMS containing a unique code will be sent from the device to a pre-defined Number. Kindly note that for sending the SMS standard SMS charges are applicable as per your SMS plan.
- Enter password and click on ‘Proceed’. Accept the Terms & Conditions for registration by selecting the check box and click ‘Ok’ button.
- An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP received and after OTP validation, user will be asked to set the MPIN for SBI Secure OTP app.
- After that an activation code will be sent to the registered mobile number. This activation code is valid for 10 minutes.
- User has to complete the activation by login to OnlineSBI.
Activation Process at OnlineSBI:
- Login to OnlineSBI, go to profile section and click on Activate Secure OTP link.
- Enter the activation code received.
- User registration to SecureOTP app will be completed after successful validation of activation code.
- Please note that mode of OTP authentication for Internet Banking/Yono Lite will changed to State Bank Secure OTP. User will no longer receive OTP over SMS.
- Login to SBI Secure OTP application using MPIN.
Note: Ensure the same SIM is in place for sending the registration SMS and completing the registration.

Pathetic App
It was so frustrating to use this app. After numerous tries, had to drop the idea of using it anymore for authentication purpose.
how to register this app by ESIM?
with technology advances everyone is opting for ESIM rather then carrying multiple sims and this app is not registering as it cannot detect sim in phone. can you tell me how ur app will register now??
Not working after update
It’s not working after update I am not able to register and always says try after sometime it’s looks like SBI got corona
Unbelievably useless
Totally disappointed with the app as I am totally stuck with my account and not able make any transactions. Whenever I try to generate OTP, it shows unable to process and it is been the same for months now.

Unable to do registration
For last two days I’ve been trying to register for the new OTP process with no help and keep getting message saying “we are unable to pricess your request for now pls try after sometime”. After how much time ???? Unable to make any transatlantic due to the new OTP registration failure 😖😥
Secure OTP
For last many days, am not not able to either update my Secure OTP or can’t login. Website says version 2.2.0 but in App Store version 2.2.1 only available. Such a flaw from a national bank is not acceptable. We are stuck with some urgent money transfer. Please fix it ASAP
NRE Account Staying outside India
After the software got updated, the app was unable to retrieve the old data and credentials. No option in the app to contact a call center. All of a sudden I have an urgent transfer and all stuck. There came a serious of digits and numbers Asking to sent to an Indian number 91 7304459011 for activation. I send from my international number to this number but no response. What standard of banking security you people were keeping. Security have to take from the banking side, not making the user in trouble.
Again OTP app is broke
I have latest app version 2.2.1, entered username sent international sms on mentioned number. No OTP received and can not proceed to complete activation process and app is not usable. This is not first time broken changes are released in the application. SBI not good, provide best of service to customer and solve the issues. Giving 1 star just to submit otherwise it was 0.
