Scaniverse FAQ
Is Scaniverse free?
Yes, Scaniverse is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Scaniverse legit?
🤔 The Scaniverse app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Instead of buying expensive subscriptions to Lidar scanner apps, download this one. It is s hidden gem. It does EVERYTHING that the other fancy apps do, plus it does it BETTER. The 3D capture is easy and precise, and the textures are amazing. Too good to be true! This developer is the GOAT.
So accurate!!
So accurate, easy to use, great Texturing!!
Point cloud video render would be dope
Love the current features, but sent a message to support but didn’t get a reply. Would love if there was an option to export a video but in the point cloud format
Free
It’s free and perfect I love this app thank you so Much for creating this beautiful app
Export formats
Does this export to STL for my 3D printer
Really bad
Horrible. I followed the video and instructions but all scans come out smudged and blurry! Zero detail no matter what setting. Don’t bother you are 10000% better of taking a video
Almost Perfect (best on the market)
Using this in the construction industry will be revolutionary, however, it is still a bit behind that day. It’s really strong at capturing “bigger” objects but not the smaller ones. For example, I can capture a wall in a building but not the 1” diameter wiring that protrudes the wall and goes into the ceiling. These things are going to take time to fix, however, to make this app actually useful and used more than once a month or so, they need to fix the bug that occurs if you try scanning for a bit longer. For example, to scan a whole room with a square footage of 1250 square feet (including floor, 4 walls sided like a rectangle, & a ceiling), there is likely to be some issues in the clarity of the scan (walls seem to bleed or overlap onto other parts of the wall), yet to scan one wall you will likely have a very coherent scan.
All in all, once that long scanning bug is fixed, this app will be much more useful!
Keep it up developers, you’re coming onto gold.
