Scaniverse - 3D Scanner

Takes a little time to figure out. I just kept hacking at it until I learn what it can do. Very simple but works great after playing with it. Using a turn table no clutter makes a really good scan to process later. I was surprised by how easy it gets once you play with it.

Intuitive to use and offers many options for export. There is no end to what I can do with it. And the scans look great. Only one issue, the raw scans are taking up so much room on my phone and there is NO WAY to back them up to cloud or offline location. Will have to switch to another app soon as I will run out of room. If the raw files could be stored in Documents they could be offloaded to another location. I can do this with 3D Scan so I know it is possible. I would pay for this service or for the ability to sync with Dropbox or GDrive. Other than that keep up the good work

I work in this field and need to make professional grade quality products. These scans work even in the evening and night! Help us create an online class for students pls!

It’s great and exports to the now open source .SPZ format, but you can’t make changes and import back in that I can see. I understand them wanting us to share real scans, but we should be able to view our own altered ones.

For my use, the app would be perfect if the scan distance was in increased to about 10 meters. I would also like to be able to upload and download raw data files with other Scaniverse users. Other than those two observations, the app is very strong and easy to use with fast processing speed compared to others.

Ok if you want the CIA looking at all your scans.

The quality of flat this is neat, but edges render out like melted lava and background cannot be isolated to see the bottom as well would be nice.
