10 year user. Best app I’ve seen. Even better with recent improvements.
I’ve researched them all and this is hands-down, the best guidance app.

I’ve researched them all and this is hands-down, the best guidance app.
Power planner is worth it alone, but the navigation voice is too frequent — maybe I can change, dunno. Also weak in that it doesn’t have certain key offline maps. If it’s navigation were better I’d use it always, but I still go to Apple or Google for quick trips. Expensive and I hate paying for add-ons, but at least no annual subscription— that is straight. Very. Great features. 6 stars.
Route customization is the single deal-breaking feature that I want in a motorcycle navigation app. This app lets you select presets like “curvy” or “beautiful,” then it calculates a route. That’s it. It’s simple to use, but the app isn’t actually that great at finding either curvy or beautiful roads. Sometimes it seems to think that making a series of turns at 4-way stops counts as “curvy.” I tried asking for a route to the Sodus Point lighthouse, which is an easy gimme because the lakefront road is both curvy and beautiful, but it decided to instead send me along a series of straight, boring roads through the back country. Meh.
Scenic, Wunderlinq, IPhone 14 Pro, Jabra 85t working seamlessly on my R1300GS. I use a cheap USB Bluetooth receiver paired as riders headset 1 so the TFT media functions work. My Jabras are paired directly to my IPhone. Better sound than pairing to TFT.
I have been down roads I did not even know existed! Just the app I have been looking for.
Love the app and the interface. Can take some getting used to with all the features packed in, but it has become my go-to for motorcycle route planning via iPad and tracking when riding with other team leads. Love how reliable and effective the offline maps are as well. Just spent a couple days riding in SOS territory in the game lands of Pennsylvania and no issues at all.
How to download offline maps
I’ve used REVER, Garmin, and even tried Google. None compare to Scenic. I hope they keep investing in the app. It’s the best I’ve seen. Only have one recommendation. Create the ability to share and track location while on a ride.
I love using Scenic to plan our drives to new places.
I love this app. I use it on every ride on 3 different bikes. It’s intuitive and obviously designed by someone who rides and uses it. It’s fun to use and works well. I enjoy discovering more ways to use it. I have ordered a Wonderlink for my BMWS1000XR. I also have REVER and a Garmin Nav IV. This is my go to app and I can move it across all my bikes so I capture every ride. Well done. Highly recommended.
