Best interface around. But the server setup and operation is glitchy and the support seems none existent. I have purchase 2 seperate licenses for 2 different software from Bensoft and made contact multiple times to no response. It’s good, but buyer beware.
Been using security spy in my business for over 10 years. Kudos to the developers for consistently maintaining and improving this absolutely essential app.
How is it not possible to save a captured file from the app? What other purpose would a cctv app have but to review and save relavent videos?!?! You can delete videos but not save??? Stupidity!!
We were using a competitors product, which didn’t feel like a Mac app. Clunky. Buggy. Missing vital features. Huge CPU load etc. GHASTLY software. Luckily found this one, amazing!! Did a quick test on an early 2009 24” iMac running a patched copy of Catalina (hardly a stable platform!) and it worked perfectly for a test - this natively supports Apple Silicon and the UI though lacked with features is straightforward - I didn’t have to look up help or user manual to get 6 cameras setup, web access to the app, masked zones on various cameras, some cameras triggering others etc. And the iOS app actually works, and works well. Really good!! Reccomend, A+, would buy again, etc :)
I bought this a little over 2 years ago for 4 cameras. This is one of the most reliable setups for OSX and iOS. I recommend if you just want your NVR and iOS App to just work. Great new additions all the time and easy to use software. Well done Ben!
I've been looking for a solution to monitor my network cameras from my Mac and be able to access them from my phone. This app does that well giving me a good view of my cameras from my phone while I'm out anywhere. I love that you can view recordings from the app but would love it even more if there was the ability to share recordings / save recordings so I could email or share them via messenger apps.
Good easy to setup camera viewer. It's in need of a few enhancements to make it great but I'm sure they will come, it's only new.
Works well on the local network; fast to load, great picture quality and playback all superb. Unfortunately it doesn't work over a vpn though, where other products do
I have tested and used many viewers but this has to be the quickest and easiest I have setup. Excellent work.
Ben, thanks for adding the audio button. It makes quickly checking something way less distracting. A small but genuine quality of life improvement.
