Highly unmanaged setup
I paid for a month's booking along with security fees. Nobody contacted me regarding the details for car pick. When i contacted the emergency number, they confirmed they cannot give the car as per slot and not even same day as it is not available and they are not working today. Contacted customer care, they are also of no help, asked to collect car tomorrow. There is no change in booking dates on the app. Please avoid using this app.
Very disappointed
This service is incredibly disappointing, with obscure policies and a lack of responsive support. Their approach to business is unacceptably unprofessional. I'd choose to walk instead of ever using this again, and I strongly advise against it to anyone.
Really bad customer service
Costumer services is not good. Deposit refund are not being transferred for a month period after returning car which is too long. Also service are not great it takes forever to reach customer support
Stay away from them
Don’t even think of renting from them. I made a big mistake.
Worst ! Just don’t take car from self drive
I had a bad experience with Self drive, not with the car but with advance amount refund. They claimed to refund money within 24 hours which is not true. They will hold your money for almost 1.5 to 2 months. That’s huge span. Not sure what their business model is “I assume these guys are making interest over your money for 2 months “.
On a side note - I have not received my money yet, even though app shows refund process is completed. I am now following up with them daily and no luck. Don’t just take car from them.

Bad customer service
Do not go for this companies rental services. They will follow up for you to rent the car but will take their sweet time to refund your deposit. And to get back the deposit you have to call them repeatedly and even then you will not get a concrete answer on when you will get the refund. If you face an issue with the car, you have to take care of that as well there is no assistance from them even thought that is what they advertise. Be very careful if you rent a car from this company i have had a really bad experience.

Horrible App and Service
1. They dont cancel the booking after returning the car.
2. You need to wait for hours in the call. No one picks up.
3. Your deposit get struck and you would never get till you keep calling them on regular basis.
The worst middleman possible
I rented from Self Drive twice.
A. Once for a week. The outlet (Dollar Arenco) charged me the Salik fees at the store while returning. Few days a later, self drive also charged my card the same amount. After repeated follow ups, I’m yet to receive any response (let alone resolution) from the team.
B. I’m currently renting a Mazda CX-5. 5 Days back, I reported a warning signal to both Dollar and Self Drive. Still no response apart from we will get back. Guys, if you have zero operational control on the car, you should state the same in bold on your website.
Don’t lower the price on your site and then charge customers’ cards, illegally. Worse, don’t have a customer care number, if you can’t resolve a single concern.
