SessionTalk SIP Softphone

This app works OK but it must be open on this IOS phone to receive calls.

Impossible to set up to my local network it’s all linked to outside

I tried SessionTalk to connect to my home PBX and had nothing but headaches with configuration. My firewall is allowlist-only and the developer wouldn't reply to my requests for a list of known SIP proxies to add to the firewall. Tried to refund and Apple refused it. Avoid this app, I went with Groundwire and it's been working flawlessly.

I love this soft phone and I have tried a few of them. This one fits my needs.

Great app and easy to use. Active developers and support really responsive. A must have with your PBX installation.

Once you’re in a call, if you switch back to keypad mode in order to dial by name on some IVR systems, you can’t because they don’t have the letters on the numbers. Which makes this useless because most IVR systems I call I dial by name.

The latest release claimed stability fixes, but I have now having constant crashes while on call. I like the app, but it seems to be reaching its end of life.

New version crashes on iPhone 11

The app doesn’t appear to be a user data harvesting machine, lol! The options provided are decent, and with other similar apps many cost money... Easy to setup and easy to use. Lastly, another commenter complained how his sms messages were being routed incorrectly after switching apps, and blaming it on these people... well, it’s practically impossible for all intents and purposes for this to happen... The protocols used plus the nature of how message routing works means that his story simply isn’t possible. However, iPhones in general have issues with sms routing and there are delays in changing this routing as a result of how iMessage works. This has been a very well known problem ever since iMessage came into existence. He needs to address any issues of this nature with them...

After decided move from this Softphone to other and removed accounts from session talk they continued receiving all txt messages! The session talk push notifications took all sms first even account removed! After contacted support and exchanged 50 emails rear and back with same questions and same answers is not possible i sent them all pictures with showing proof! After they see pictures requested send them log . Log sent never hear from them again! Very bad ! Can’t use my sms messages with other softphone i bought! By the GDPR after remove account they have immediately remove all of my information! But they not !
