Clunky
It works, and I assume it’s accurate, but the interface is absolutely appalling. So old-fashioned and clunky. Counter intuitive to navigate.

For such a small app it’s weirdly difficult to use. Unfamiliar symbols and ambiguous nomenclature on option buttons turns its operation into pot luck. Maybe I really am getting old but in my opinion this app needs a complete revamp to make it more intuitive and user friendly.
I wanted a DoF calculator for a C200 which has a crop factor of 1.53 on the 8.29Mp settings. But this app says it’s 1.37. Deleted.
Anything useful is blocked by adverts, can’t even get through the set up page. Absolute rubbish
This app is essential to all photographers who like to shoot on the move.
2017: same. 2014: Quite a cluttered & messy layout. Impossible to evaluate as the adverts are so big & middle of every page.
Cynical use of adds on an absolutely hopeless photographic tool.
Total rubbish. Advert over the top of the dof field can't be seen without clicking multiple times. Complete waste of my time.
This app is not worthy of one star. Another greedy vendor splattering the app with ads. And not accurate!!!! Don't download and definitely don't upgrade. I only upgrade if I have already received some value and benefit in order to unlock something enhanced but this is utter rot and not accurate.
This is a great app and just what I've been looking for! I am a professional photojournalist, but often find the lack of a depth of field scale on modern lenses irritating. This app gives me that info quickly and easily for different camera bodies, lenses, and settings, and takes the guesswork out of it. I love how comprehensive the list of variables I can input is, and the instant readouts for each change. I can understand that if you use the basic free version - which I tried out briefly myself - the ads etc are a problem. I also understand that people new to DSLR photography may find the information or layout confusing at first, but it's worth sticking at it and getting to grips with it. I almost immediately upgraded to the pro version, and in my view it is worth every penny! At the very least go for the ad free upgrade. I'm sure I will use this a lot
