Indispensable
Almost the first app I bought for an iPhone, almost 10 years ago. All credit for the way the makers have faithfully updated it for each new version of iOS. An essential for anyone who loves Shakespeare.
Re Shakespeare
Excellent collection of all surviving works of The Bard and even one dubious work. Each is accessible via a cartoon icon and has detailed analysis of play and characters in addition the work itself.

When I originally bought this app I loved it. I really enjoy the Shakespeare quote of the day. Unfortunately the last few months I have been unable to open the app. It has been "frozen" I have tried deleting it to reinstall. It won't even delete. I have restarted the iPad, done all the updates etc. getting impatient as to when this this will be fixed. I would also like to be able to highlight ALL of my favourite quotes/versus not just one.

You have bereft me of all words...
Verily, this is a fine and merry app! But seriously, I can't applaud this enough. The full texts of all Shakespeare's works (including the apocrypha), easily searchable with useful ability for annotations and bookmarks. There are a bunch of well thought-out extras including character descriptions, statistics, quotes, and an awesome glossary. Highly recommended.

Not Happy
Not knocking the app - it's fine - I took two stars off my rating because, forsooth, I have been undone. Apple has made me buy the latest version of the pro app when I had already purchased an earlier version. They are the Merchants of ….
