Shapr3D CAD modeling

In normal app’s you get straight into it but you have to do load’s of signing in. If you don’t have a Apple Pencil or mouse or a trackpad you can’t use it. If your not a business person then you shouldn’t be expecting anything good from it

Great app but not affordable for private novices. Need a cheaper option that just includes being able to export the stl at better quality so that circles are round.

Love the app on Mac and iPad, it’s so intuitive which is great for me doing little bits of model editing for 3D Printing at home - I’d rather pay for this than have to deal with learning esoteric controls in OnShape. I do wish you had a payment plan that works better for someone who only needs to make a few simple models a year - £300 pa is too much for non-pros, I’d bite at £100 pa or maybe pay per export?

Can’t add any colour without premium which is 39 pound a month

Works effortlessly on the iPad, working has a beginner its been easy to pick up the functions. Very helpful that highlights the command key next to action.

It seems to work well but for this price may as well go to a laptop and use fusion, it took 30 minutes and yet another sign up before they let you know the cost so they obviously don’t want you to know that at first

It’s great, but expensive to the point that it feels greedy. There’s no pricing that’s for hobbyists. I’m not paying roughly the price of a 3D printer to be able to make things for said printer. Massive shame because it could be the go-to for all hobbyists, but they’re too greedy.

The best CAD application on macOS. Even better, it is free for education.

Free option only allows low res export in stl and 3mf file formats. The low res models are of no use at all. This app would be great for commercial use but no good for the personal users as the price is too high just to get better exports.
