I really like this app. But I think $ 400 is far too expensive. The low resolution stl files are unacceptable. Fusion 360 allows you to export high resolution stl files in the free tier. It’s a shame they don’t have an iPad app. I am just a hobbyist so I cannot justify this. Really nice app otherwise. It’s a shame you’ve gone the adobe/greed route.
This is the only app I’ve used (I’ve tried several) where I have been able to actually create something! The experience on iPad is amazing but not nearly as good with the Windows or Mac app. Navigation and controls are just not intuitive like they are with the iPad. But since this is a review on the iPad app… it’s pretty close to perfect :)
First you need an account that won’t save details to a password manager Then you can’t use a finger as an input device ON AN IPAD. What a joke.
Amazing app, high quality, useful, educational, but unrealistic pricing. 20$ a month seems fair
Great app, works well but… subscription cost keeps going up making it difficult to justify from a hobbyist perspective…
Give it a go, you will not regret! if you have used some simple CAD software like SketchUp and cero. This app is the hero! The possibilities are truly endless, in the first couple hours I’ve modelled houses, battleships, missiles and more! Lol. Curious about what limitations it has? Organic shapes seems to be quite difficult. The price for students like me (not for profit) is very steep, $400. That’s just one year. But the free version seems to have all the main stuff. Pair this with a concept drawing app and a model rendering like octanex. And your app has done the thing I thought impossible… give a iPad a purpose!
After may update now I am not able to work with it it's way slow even loading project take more than 3 minute and even moving body take over 2 minute
I’m a student and at first i was a bit annoyed i had to pay for the software but i did some looking and you can actually apply for an EDU liscence which is just great this will really help with my 3d printing assessment very easy to use and makes great quality models
I am in high school and we are using this to design a fireproof box to build and it is fantastic
Good and easy for me to use when I got used to it
