We have had our motorize blinds 2 and half years now, and anytime we have needed help with the app or modem, this guys have been fantastic, today Quenten helped us because one blind was not performing A+ and he is so nice and patient guiding us and solved our problem super quick and efficiently, worthy of an A+ recommendation Thank you so much
Not sure why this wasn’t though of before but it would be incredibly helpful to know how much battery is left for each shade and to also receive a notification when there is less than 10% remaining. Your app is also a liar and keeps telling me shades are open/closed when they aren’t. I have problems with your app not connecting to the shades multiple times per month. Is it also really that hard to offer troubleshooting on your app? Not to mention if there’s issues with Wi-Fi connectivity with shades too. Honestly do better. This product has been a huge disappointment for the price point and I could have saved $ by just going to Lowe’s. Do not buy from budget blinds either. Once they take your $ and you experience an issue they don’t contact you to resolve.
I have 5 motorized shades that use this system, and 6 that use a different one and work flawlessly. The ones from Budget Blinds almost never connect to the app even though the hub is no farther than 14ft, on a clear surface with no obstacles. If on a lucky day the app connects to the blinds, it only performs one function per blind; let’s say you open one blind to 50%, you won’t be able to perform other action unless you kill the app (not close it, kill it) and re open it.
Here I sit once again trying to reconnect my stupid hub to the router. If only I had looked at the reviews before buying this Budget Blinds disaster. The troubleshooting section is useless. So much wasted time with this system that wouldn’t be user friendly for 2004 let alone 2024.
This works for setting timers, but the time zone is clearly incorrect and I can't figure out how to fix that. Is there some way to change the time zone? Maybe it was set up incorrectly, but the people who installed it did the set up.
The connection process is absurd. If it doesn’t work, you are left with no options. If you want to reconnect, you can’t. It just doesn’t work
This was infuriating - after digging around and a lot of trial and error I disconnected from WiFi and used cellular to get past the “select your time zone” screen and complete the setup. The error message of “resetting your settings” was completely unhelpful. If I didn’t have to use this app I wouldn’t. Still two stars cuz at least it worked eventually and setting up the shades was pretty straightforward

I hate this app now. Like every other app, every time there’s an update, it gets worse. I used to be able to click on a shade icon to go into it, and then select open, close, or set a position. Now whenever I click a shade icon, it toggles open or close. Or a room icon toggles all shades. I have to click and HOLD to get into the shade now. How is this an upgrade? It takes longer to do what i want to do. Like every other smart app, i wish i can revert to a previous version.
Working great for 1.5 years. Support very helpful for my initial setup and my recent switch of routers.
