Works great

Alex.sax132 on

Works great for me for Alto Saxophone

Great app however…

misty bleu on

Love the reason for this app however would be essential to add an option on editing music directly on the app….with ipencil for instance. Every musician of any instrument writes notes on their music sheet, I don’t understand why this app has everything needed except for editing. Hoping to hear from provider if we can expect to see this improvement soon in the future.

Good start

superppp on

The bugs are NOT generally caused by bad pictures since it as bad with perfect pdf files. Usable only for short passes that are difficult to learn as a singer. Even when the play is perfect, it is full of mistakes when exporting to mp3. Exporting to musicxml is worse that makes a complete mess. Still using it on a regular basis that explains the generous 3 stars. There is a real need for this and I hope You will continue to improve it.

Works quite well

Bister1084 on

While not perfect at music recognition, this app works as well as the $100 Musitek dedicated app for conversion from pdf to musxml. But it doesn’t seem to recognize time signatures.

Missing basic functionality for the $

Dashsanta on

If you are going to charge people $7 and not have a proper transpose function makes this reader completely useless!’ Pitch shifting by Hz on a small range is not effective at all. I shouldn’t have to export the audio to an external app in order to playback the track in a different key! It’s basic functions that a $7 app lacks

Thank you

Rfry200 on

Really enjoying the app. The app works as expected. A very quick way to get a snapshot of what the music sounds like. An indispensable tool. OCR is always difficult, better the scan, better the result. Like the idea you can import pictures and export in various formats. When exporting, using midi or xml expect to do some some editing to make your work look perfect.

Terrible reader. Useless.

Aivesterdal on

Looking at the chart American patrol by Meacham and Lavender - The app ignores rests and misattributes notes and can’t tell when notes are tied together. Sadly this app is useless. I couldn’t recommend it to anyone. I hope an update comes out and corrects these senseless errors since I’ve already paid for this.

Needs improvement

Ramya logesh on

Key features like rest, slurs & ties, cresc & dim, and volume levels aren’t even recognized. Just plays the notes like a robot.

A very useful app for me

Disciple of Hymn on

Thankful for this app, as a person who doesn’t sight read well it’s been very useful when I need to learn a new hymn. It gets updates to make it work better from time to time. Kudos to the developer!

Useful tool for students

Totaldunce on

Being able to select specific bars for section practice is the best reason to use this app. Perfect for learning new songs quickly. It’s not perfect, with a bit of a fiddly camera recognition and other flaws but it does a damn good job nonetheless.
