Limitations
- Reads printed sheet music, not handwritten or mimicking handwriting, tablatures, etc.
- Reads standard oval note heads only, no special symbols like shape notes.
- The following symbols are not currently supported: codas, percussion notation, dynamics, double sharps, double flats, and grace notes. These are planned to come in the future updates.
- Use high-quality printed sheet music and take photos under good enough light, when scanning from your camera, for optimal results. For scanning from a file, the recommended resolution is 300 DPI or 8-12 MPx per page.
- Some older prints and unusual fonts may not be recognizable.

Very useful app and simple to use, my only complaint is that the sound samples are awful and almost painful to listen to. Shame as this spoils the App.
Very good app
This app has worked really well for me. I don’t do much conversion, but it’s always managed to convert sheet music I have to a digital version in MuseScore. It isn’t perfect, but mistakes are usually when things are complex or are a bit unusual.

Great app
As a learner on the alto sax, I find this app indispensable. I can read the music, but still not able to get the tune exactly as written. This app allows me to scan in the music, play it on the alto and move on. The price is extremely reasonable for such useful app. If you are learning to play a brass instrument, this is almost like having a teacher on call.

Very helpful developer :-)
I had complained that this moved to subscription as I had previously bought it. The developer was very helpful and explained it was a bug that was preventing me from accessing the app that has now been fixed. The restore button is now working. Thanks David :-)
Misleading and overpriced?
At the time of downloading there was no indication this is a subscription based app. This should be clearer. The subscription is expensive. Unfortunately, there is no option for one time purchase for unlimited use.
