This app offers the possibility to control all Shelly devices remotely. You can monitor and control your devices from anywhere (by using the cloud option) or, if you do not want the Cloud option, you will still be able to monitor and control your devices from within your local network. Shelly devices do not need to be connected to the cloud or to send data there.
The Shelly Home Automation portfolio includes a variety of relay switches, sensors, plugs, bulbs, and other controllers, all connected and controlled through your Wi-Fi network. The new Shelly Plus and Shelly Pro lines of products additionally support Bluetooth connectivity for faster device inclusion and communication, and the new Shelly Pro line offers LAN and Wi-Fi usage simultaneously. Shelly devices are suitable to control lights, garage doors, curtains, window blinds, or other appliances, trigger actions based on certain parameters from sensor devices. Devices provide near real time notification on changes of the parameters they are measuring - energy consumption, temperature other environment values.
All Shelly devices have:
- Embedded Web server
- Wi-Fi control and connectivity
- APIs for observation and control
A user account is required to access, include, and control Shelly devices through the application. Once Shelly account is registered, you can:
- Connect the devices to an existing W-Fi network or use their Access Point mode locally to control other Shelly devices;
- Include, manage, and operate as many Shelly devices as you need;
- Configure devices and manage individual settings on every device;
- Configure custom scheduling for automatic actions;
- Create personalized rooms for more convenient organising and control of the devices;
- Define custom Groups of devices to control multiple devices with one command within the app;
- Build simple and complex scenes by combining Shelly devices to trigger certain actions in your home automation;
- Monitor current and past electrical power consumption of the electrical circuit(s) and loads (for Shelly devices equipped with Power-measuring capabilities);
- Build complex automation solutions for improved energy and operational efficiency;
- Receive real time alerts and notifications based on your preference.
Shelly devices are compatible with other widely used both local and cloud-based home automation platforms like Google Home or Alexa.

Thanks for ruining a product

Thanks. I can’t access my pump because you turned off the old app for this piece of garbage. I can’t log in. Your reset link sends me to the same login page and does nothing. But reading the reviews about logging in, looks like nothing works. Great job guys. Gotta get people’s data any way possible.

Constantly unable to use my lights

On top of marginally worse connection, ever since upgrading to this app my lights are constantly inaccessible. This may in part be due to newer firmware, but the issues definitely started when I got this app. My switches starting becoming dis functional at the panel, and would be off my network for half a day at a time.

App seems to fail to reach servers

I’ve migrated to the new app, all worked well so I deleted the old one (mistake!) Now the app shows that all my devices are offline. Tried to logout and the app hangs. Deleted is and reinstalled it, and now I can’t login (spinning thingy goes on forever). Web app works fine, it is the app that is failing to pull data from the servers. Now without the app I can’t install the new devices I just received 😡 Shelly devices have been quite reliable for me, but this app is really disappointing.

Nice update

Im really hope, that this is yearly beta, and you will update it shortly. As loosing ability to check humidity history should not be expected result…

Can’t sign up/create account

Got my first Shelly device and was excited to set it up. Downloaded the app and tried to sign up. Gives a useless error each time I attempt to submit. “Error Please try again!” I’ve tried several times and nothing I do has helped. Not off to a good start.

Buggy and laggy

This „new“ app is even worse than the bad old app. Please hire a proper user inteface designer!! The new app loads very slow. It is so annoying to look at the loading bar every time I want to use it. The old app didn‘t need a loading screen!! The new app doesn’t even load on the ipod touch with disabled location services. Those are not needed! Fix the app so it at least loads without location services enabled!

Login issues

Old app forces me to install the newest version and unfortunately all my attempts to login are futile. I keep facing errors even when trying to submit a support ticket. Can I get some help?

Devs are working…

..daily - to get the app from worse to the worst. Icons are just a top of the huge iceberg. And as bonus - Premium version ! 🥴 Overpriced cr.p. Going to other more convenient, less buggy solution - which is more professional, better!! Ps : shame on you developers - and don’t bother to reply with B.S.

Reset password

“ Password request was sent” But Never received email from Shelly. Received reset password after an hour. RESET Password DID NOT let me login to my account with the message “Wrong email or password”. Reset password again and again BUT Not working. Shelly is JunK.

Nothing but trouble

Bought 5 Shelly devices for home use as a trial. Latest iPhone and iOS. Nothing but trouble from the start. All will be returned. There are better options.
