Shutter - Sony Camera Remote

Having used your app for 2 years now, I can see the huge improvement and dedication you gave it. I am so happy with its performance right now. The lag is virtually gone with the screen display and touch screen. It’s almost super close to real time. I also appreciate all the added and usable features! Thanks so much for developing such an amazing app!

Realy bad dosent work

This app is a life saver in my attempts to photograph elusive and shy platypuses with an above-under camera setup. I can operate my housed Sony A6500 from as far as 30 metres away. There’s a bit of a time lag with the camera’s image on my phone, but I can manage that. ‘Just started this exercise with no results yet, but I’m positive some rare and good images will happen

Same issues as imaging edge, hours of pain!

Had great hopes for this app, and while Camrote and to a lesser extent the Sony app did what I wanted I really needed be able to use my Apple Watch to control the camera. The problem is that with any of the apps I have mentioned Bluetooth needs yo be turned off so the video feed works. The Apple Watch needs Bluetooth so the video feed is useless and So very laggy. Even with the Bluetooth turned off and not using the watch it’s way more laggy than the other apps. Waste of my money and refund request if you can’t give me a fix.

As a lover of landscape and long exposure photography - Shutter is a handy accessory particularly at night and in early morning. Being able to be adjust settings from my phone is great. I can see and be more comfortable than if tethered to my camera and tripod. I have found at times that the WiFi connection is a bit hit and miss but once connected Shutter is a great app. I did contact support for help with a setting on camera that prevented exposures longer than 30 seconds and their response was immediate and accurate. This alone sets this app apart. I have not been disappointed with my purchase. (For long exposures the shutter setting cannot be electronic for bulb or longer than 30”)

This app is not as good as it claims. I purchased this app after reading the reviews expecting something I’m far better than the FREE Sony app. Buggy to connect and offers half the features that the Sony app does. You can not download stored photos and the connection drops in and out. Default Sony app works perfectly with my Sony A7 MK IV. Don’t bother wasting the money on this ridiculously over priced app.

This is an app I didn’t want to get but it is completely worth it compared to Sony app itself. Given Sony as a leading Camera equipment developer cannot include the ability to capture long exposure images with precise timing is quite disappointing. The Sony Imaging Edge app is something so unreliable and useless, I cannot put it to words how stable this app is in comparison. I put it to test in cold night shooting timed long exposure Astro photos and wasted an hour of good weather with Sony Imaging Edge until I decided to use this in desperation. Things to consider - Great replacement for a Sony Remote. - Stable connectivity. - Long exposure timed photo shooting scenarios. - More features preferred. - Best alternative app for Sony Imaging Edge.

My camera is not supported by this app. Asked for assistance from app provider but they can’t even be bothered to reply Simply a rip-off/scam

Great app, works with both my Sony A7I and RX100VA
