This app works great on my Sony SrV. Never have to use my intervalometer/receiver I have on hand

Looking for photo transfer, a6300. Found this

This app does what it’s name says it does. Remote control of Sony. However, personal wish, I could transfer photos to iPhone at some point. Like the 7 day trial!!!

Love this

separate option for a remote and secondary screen in photos. Better option than the selfie of a stick attached to your iPhone. Also, the ability to transfer to your iPad is a major plus. Ability to make controls in on photos also fantastic. Highly recommend.

Somehow works worse after purchasing

Super slow and on par with Sony’s remote app in terms of connectivity and speed performance. Worked great initially but became worse within weeks. Requires more patience than I have left. If there’s something I’m doing wrong with a sort of setting compatibility, I’d love to know. This was very useful when it was more reliable. I’d give it another star if it was just 30% better and reliable half of the time I needed it.

Great app!

The Shutter app was pivotal to my photography of the total solar eclipse this week with my Sony a6700 camera. The camera is capable of bracketing nine stops per second, but the intervalometer mode in the app allowed me to do so for 20-30 seconds straight at the pivotal moment when totality began and again when it ended to capture Bailey’s Beads and the Diamond Ring Effect. Not only was I able to get all these exposures, but I was able to begin each sequence with a single tap on my phone: I was able to watch and appreciate the entire event without even touching the camera, which was connected to a tracking mount in a hard-to-reach position.

Horrible app to set up

I’ve spent close to an hour trying different approaches and still nothing. Not worth paying for something that will not work.

It works on my stuff

Wanted remote shutter, but it does more than that. And it does it on my phone, watch and iPad. Pretty happy with it, though I still have to play with it some to use more of what it offers.

Sony Playmemories?

Sony is discontinuing Playmemories. So I was quite surprised to be told BEFORE I could use or activate Shutter I had to pay $14 for a PlayMemories account. Can you please advise.

Wont connect
