The app is good, the fairness of payouts…not so much!
I like the app for uploading illustrations and photos. However, there is no way to upload video content, which is disappointing being that video is where the earnings are.
Also, when I use the app to look at my portfolio, many of my images repeat themselves.
My main complaint is regarding payouts. Instead of offering payout tiers based on a rolling 12 month period, you get wiped to Zero and have to earn your way back up the tiers at the beginning of every year. It isn’t a fair system. A better way would be to allow contributors to maintain their higher tier earnings based on a rolling 12 month sales period. If they keep selling, they keep earning on the higher tier. If they don’t keep selling and aren’t contributing new content to maintain higher amounts of sales, they would drop down to a lower tier. That would be fair.

Maximum time pictures not uploading it’s shows errors and need guidances to taking pictures I am new here I need more help to make pictures standers which Shutterstock have to approve

Although, I have not sold any pictures, I have been loving the experience.
The limitations are endless
When you upload 100+ images and only like 11 get approved….the frustration is real. I can’t say I will be using this silly app. I put in my heart in all the images I create and then some kind of bot comes up with a generic excuse as to why it will not be uploaded? No thanks
No funciona bien
Subí varias fotos por medio de la app y fueron aprobadas pero no aparecen en mi cartera de fotos… no funciona bien esta app, creo que es mejor usar la página web
Only 20% of uploads hit the portfolio
No luck so far. They kick back about 2/3 of your photos just for having similar titles, and then the ones that do successfully upload only half make it in the portfolio. I’d say you will go through over an hour worth of effort to upload and describe 30 photos. Wait 3 days, 10 get approved, 5 make it in the portfolio. No one buys them or sees them. Seems like a scam.
Don’t do it for extra money
Pay rate is horrible. You get a dime to a dollar if your photo sells. Not worth the time and effort.
They don’t approve nothing.
It’s seem like there’s always a an excuse to not approve your pics.
