Sidus Link® App 1.7 version now has the new Magic Program™ GO function. It lights up every creative work with vivid lighting effects easier. Multiple layout shapes help with quick set-up; With only one click, users can easily apply various preset lighting effects; The Effect Store could run lighting effects across scenes, making the lighting program much more effortless. 1.Multiple layout shapes for quick set-up
With the eight most common layout shapes, users could quickly set lights in rectangle, circle and star shapes. The Magic Program™ GO also supports flexible numbers of fixtures. Users could customize lights numbers in the range of 1 to 25 freely.

2.Apply multiple lighting effects with only one click
The Magic Program™ GO has three brand new quick lighting effects modes: Flash, Pixel Chasing, and the Color Chasing lighting effect modes. No need for complicated operations, set lighting effect up with only a few clicks. Users can even preview the effect during the setting operation, giving quick lighting effects access during busy on-site shooting.

3.General Effect Store
Users now can save the lighting effects to the General Effect Store and apply them on the same types of fixtures even across scenes. Let creativity shine and be immortal.

4.The mobile App is now supporting team account functions, iPad users could use the team account and sub-account to log and use the mobile App.

After using guest mode, i can no longer create an account and use the app

The best lighting app ever

Its just flawless, every single thing is so well thought and well designed. The only thing that I want them to improve is when you minimize the app and load the app again, it configures everything from the beginning, it takes a bit of loading time. I think it should not be happening as long as the app is running in the background even when other app is used.

The easy to pick up controls make it simple for beginners to jump in and get professional results with the click of a few buttons. Whilst seasoned lighting operators will enjoy the apps extensive suite of advanced controls, able to tailor any scene with endless potential for creativity and experimentation. Sidus link really does offer the best of both worlds, making it a no brainer for those looking to get into lighting for the first time, or those trying to take there productions to the next level of interconnection & connivence.

Great for stage and film

Using this app in my media and drama classes to control mc rgb lights this app is a life saver not having to muck around to get them all the same color or setting this app really makes everything done in second and can control all lights and save presets as well. A must have for and creative.

Useful Tool

User friendly app with heaps of canned effects and useful features. I like that it’s cloud based and the setup syncs across multiple devices. I also like the more practical features such as power calculations. Looking forward to using this on a show sometime soon!

Perfect for run & gun filmmakers

Excellent app. As a self employed videographer this app is a huge help on shoots where I’m on my own, letting me easily control my lights without moving away from the monitor. Great design and seamless pairing with my Apurture devices, I would recommend this to any filmmaker looking to improve their control over lighting on set.

Great app! Having the ability to control lighting quickly and easily from my phone has been a game changer. Very intuitive and easy to use and you can customise the effects to get the exact look you want.

Such a useful and professional App -A must for Aputure lighting users

I was introduced to this app following Aputure’s 2020 knowledge series. Although a content producer for over 17 years and a user of Aputure products for a few years - I was unaware of the power of Sidus Link for professionals. After a crash course and testing first hand with Sidus mesh compatible lights - I loved it! It was so easy to use and reliable. Lighting controls from my phone! Since the., further app updates and this this year’s Aputure Certification series dove deeper into the app. I learnt more about the set diagrams and sound sync features. It’s an exciting time for content producers a d filmmakers - With tools like these. I look forward to learning more in the app and seeing what else is coming.

Brilliant

We recently had to program lighting changes for long takes in a music video. We lit with Aputure Novas specifically so we could hand that job off to the Magic Program feature of Sidus Link. We spent a day programming our cues and on the shoot day it worked perfectly, every time. Will be using again.

So intuitive

An insanely useful app, this has helped my on set efficiency so much. It’s easy to pick up and get started, and to be able to daisy chain and link so many of Aputure’s light fixtures is groundbreaking. Love that you can match sources with the source colour picker function, so that when on location your fixtures are working in tandem with any practicals on site.
