It just works!
The amount of stuff you can do with the app is incredible. The Aputure lights are really powerful on their own, but the app just unlocks a different level of control

The functionality of this app is phenomenal. Makes set life so much better. Having the power to control some 600D and 1200D fixtures that stand outside in the rain and control them from inside while setup the light inside is just amazing especially on small sets where I’m the only gaffer. Standing next to your DoP and precisely control the output from every light is just amazing. Thank you Aputure for this app and that for free!
First things first. All the initial bugs are ironed out. Sidus link is a reliable app by now! We use it to control two 300ds, a 600d and a few mcs… especially when it comes to synching the mcs, dialing in colors or effects, this is such a timesaver. I love it!
This App is the reason why I am hesitant to buy led lights from other brands
this app makes the aputure LED product line complete. full control for your light setup and quick access to all your aputure LEDs. especially the cloud storage gives you instant access to your light setups on all your mobile devices (if you forgot your tablet and need to switch to your phone, you don't have to create your settings again, they are already there) only these possibilities, which are available via the app, make your aputure light set even more valuable - thank you aputure
I don’t understand why this app has to send any of my data to Sidus/Aputure. When I run the app for the first time it says it will collect a whole range of data, including device data (is that my iPad data or my lighting data?). All I want is a simple bluetooth control. Also, all the reviews on the Apple app store are very old. Does anyone have anything good to say about this app lately? Until I see more information about this, I’ll do without the app and look elsewhere for any additional lights I might need in the future.
Requiring camera permission to adjust Bluetooth lights? Why? Reporting to Apple
Why is camera access needed just for dimming control??? I don’t need the color picker feature, the app shouldn’t be restricting basic app functions due to camera access.
Complicated
Forcing me to do an update on a project isn’t what I’d expect out a professional light or lighting software.
