Sidus Link® App 1.7 version now has the new Magic Program™ GO function. It lights up every creative work with vivid lighting effects easier. Multiple layout shapes help with quick set-up; With only one click, users can easily apply various preset lighting effects; The Effect Store could run lighting effects across scenes, making the lighting program much more effortless. 1.Multiple layout shapes for quick set-up
With the eight most common layout shapes, users could quickly set lights in rectangle, circle and star shapes. The Magic Program™ GO also supports flexible numbers of fixtures. Users could customize lights numbers in the range of 1 to 25 freely.

2.Apply multiple lighting effects with only one click
The Magic Program™ GO has three brand new quick lighting effects modes: Flash, Pixel Chasing, and the Color Chasing lighting effect modes. No need for complicated operations, set lighting effect up with only a few clicks. Users can even preview the effect during the setting operation, giving quick lighting effects access during busy on-site shooting.

3.General Effect Store
Users now can save the lighting effects to the General Effect Store and apply them on the same types of fixtures even across scenes. Let creativity shine and be immortal.

4.The mobile App is now supporting team account functions, iPad users could use the team account and sub-account to log and use the mobile App.

…because Sidus Link logged me out again and I can’t log in. Guys, come on!

Just Horrible!

This is the worst app I used in a while. UI IS INEXISTENT! Developers! wake up and make this app for humans!

Crashing

App crashes when selecting a scene the day after connecting devices. Firmware is up to date. This has been an issue for months and is not acceptable. I submitted a bug report but never received a response.

Perfect except

I wish it wouldn’t make me log in every time I open it. When I’m scrambling around to set up lights or make a tweak, entering my password sometimes passes my breaking point.

Bringing powerful light control to the masses

Gives incredible control over the range of aputure lights. Allows micro budget filmmakers the level of control that would previously have been restricted to blockbusters.

Only Wish It Would Run my Other Lights

If all my lights that weren’t Aputure ran on this app it’d be incredible. It’s super easy to customise complex patterns like with smaller pocket lights and arrange lights easy without hassle, no ladders to change brightness in a pinch or change colour of an RGB light.

Intuitive powerful control over your lighting

Incredibly useful app for solo/small crew filmmaking. Being able to dial in your lighting looks from behind the camera has made a huge improvement on set up times especially on shoots where we’re moving lights around a lot for different scenes. The fact they not only have light control and effects that are easy to get around but have thrown in a diagram builder and other handy production tools is amazing (because let’s be real, jumping between apps only causes problems on set!) Happy shooting :)

The Future of Film making

Sidus Link to put it simply just works. I have never had an issue with my lights using the app or connecting them to the app. It is in that I’ve and easy to use. During filming I have made scenes with ease using my own equipment and also due to its fluidity other people equipment too. I would recommend this app and the equipment that works with it amazing quality and it gets better every update. Oh and not to forget it’s infinite possibilities with its mesh network.

Amazing app for lighting control with Aputure lights

Sidus link is one of the main reasons to invest in Aputure at the moment, it allows a huge amount of control of their lighting fixtures to create complex effects really easily, without needing extra hardware like wireless DMX systems! It works brilliantly, using Bluetooth mesh technology to be sure every light connects perfectly even when they’re large distances away from your phone or tablet. And on top of that, it now has features for creating lighting diagrams etc straight from within the app!
