I love that’s it a safe space to vent not just about feelings but also about life in general. I live being able to vent about my problems but also help others with theirs

Great app, One major problem

i want to be able to delete posts of letters, i made one and i should be able to delete it. i made so many mistypes on it and i just dont want it posted anymore. other than that, i love the concept of the app.

thoughts and opinions

this app was really fun to use. i met a bunch of people on here and i loved interacting with them and seeing a part of their life and how they felt. i’m rating it a four star bc i didn’t like the daily login streak. over time, to me, it felt more like an obligation to go on the app and js login and write a journal and read and respond to other journals. i was losing the entertainment i was once receiving from the app and that really devastated me bc i used to LOVEEE this app. very much. everyday, i couldn’t wait to interact with other ppl, write my own journals, etc etc. obviously, i don’t have the app anymore, but lingering guilt that i left someone on read and never fulfilled their request even tho i requested it has made me feel very guilty. but yeah, that’s js a me thing. i don’t really like login in streaks. other than that, i would’ve rated this a five star. tho what i will say is, i never liked that i had to wait for the other person to respond for me to send another text. also, i don’t like how you can’t edit your text either. i tend to make mistakes when i’m texting someone, so yeah. i usually don’t have a problem with the texting mechanics, but occasionally, i’ll make an error or have stuff that i would've liked to add but couldn't. i haven’t had this app in a long time, so i don’t know if they are any new updates.

This app is incredible!!

I have never met a more kind, caring, supportive, and uplifting community than on this app. It’s so amazing to be able to respond to other people’s letters and help make their days better, and when I’m really in need of support being able to go on there and get advice and support from people all over the world is absolutely amazing. Thank you to the developers for making such a great app!!!!

Great app but expensive

The app overall is great except you are highly limited. You get to read and respond to three thoughts a day and that is about it. I understand that the developers and people running the app deserve to be paid an amazing wage but for $7.99 a week to be able to help others with their mental health is a little crazy. Thats is $32 a month which is more than any other subscription out there. For a lot of people they need that for food or gas. Everyone deserves to be able to be helped as much as they need and people should be allowed to help others in need as well. I would understand $7.99 a month for unlimited features and for the fun add-ons but realistically not a whole lot of people can drop $32 a month in this economy.

i love this app. i can vent about all of my problems. and nobody knows who i am. so i cant be judged and i don't know them so it’s not going to get out.

Racism & annoying

Hi, I’m half black so some of my issues are obviously going to be about race. I’m pretty sure majority of people are literally 13 year olds, therefore, the only responses I got where little white kids trying to justify the racism I’ve faced while I’m over here struggling. It’s very annoying. People act like they know everything and when you try to correct them, they get disrespectful.

Police Your Thoughts

At first I liked the idea, but sometimes you get a lot of lazy people who react to your letter which defeats the whole purpose of this app. I can’t blame the app for that, however, I can blame it for not letting me post a new letter for a few days after I wrote a particularly sad one. They ask for honesty, u give them honesty and then I get punished. If you want to be policed, go ahead and choose this app. For me, I’m out.
