Awesome app, 💗

Not what it used to be.

This app used to be for everyone but they changed it for 18 and older. I understand why they may have done that but also its not right. I was under 18 when they implemented that and removed me from the app. Theres lots of kids who are under 18 and needed a place to vent. For me this was that place and it helped me. But after that i did everything i could to get relogged in. Its just not what it used to be. Its a great app but theres other people with many age ranged that need help. Not just 18+.

Eight bucks a week, predatory app

Greedy, aggressive margins. Each user costs them pennies a month and they want $32/mo. Ruins any good will they have with their product and mission

I think this app has something good and I’m glad it’s done something for others that I didn’t seem to get out of it. It doesn’t really feel like I’m exchanging letters with anyone, more like I'm getting overwhelmed by negativity. I know it’s the point to get things off your chest, and that’s fine but I wish it there was more of a standard for how letters are written. Despite being an app for 18+, I’m finding a lot of young people on here and it’s not in my best interest to be pouring out to 14 year olds.

Fell off…

I used to use this app literally every day, like my daily streak was 200+ until I finally ended it in June. I loved that the app was perfectly functional without a subscription, and there were no ads. I also loved the penpal dynamic! It was super fun to write little tidbits about ourselves back and fourth, creating friendships. But as of recently, the developers decided to flood the app with ads and pop-ups that were just so unnecessary. This turned from a safe space, to a desperate cash grab and honestly that’s really disappointing. Plus, I’ll admit, the premium subscription is amazingly pricey.

Meh

Was in love with app until they added ads to the free version I don’t have 7.99 to spend weekly . I love the app until the update yesterday. Very sad to see it change ans lost a lot of good people to talk to because of ads. Very sad

It was good at the way beginning till it got bought.

This app used to have no ads, you could add music to the background of ur letter or do a little drawing on it and it was 12+ I think. Now none of that is true. It has a subscription, is 18+ as if young people don’t have a really hard time, sometimes harder on average than adults, and ads as well as popup ads are extremely constant. It’s disgusting. I hope whoever decided to implement these changes feels disgusted with themselves or at least feels my seething hatred at the back of their neck because I know people who benefitted from this app so much and now it’s such a miserable experience and is probably bound to get worse as people who probably can’t even conceptualize half the stuff the people on this app go through exploit them for money.

The constant ad ruins it.

Why don’t you just have one ad at the beginning? It’s not therapeutic to be staring at a constant ad while trying to write meaningful responses to people. Ruined the app.

I love this app so much!

I truly love this app so much. It feels so free so say anything and get feedback well still stay completely anonymous. I actually really recommend this app.
