Seems to work

Remember to pull down the app home page to sync the data. Doesnt seem to happen automatically for me.

Incorrect readings

I know what my basic heart rate and O2 saturation are. The readings are completely inaccurate and I’m so disappointed. I wanted this to really work. I got the fingertips sensor and it’s completely an inaccurate. :(

Everyone should have this device

You obviously don't want this on

Sleep apnea is probably as prevalent and detrimental as hypertension. It is also as insidious and requires technology to monitor and analyze. This ring packs a sophisticated sleep lab into a tiny package. Remarkable. In my opinion, they should be routinely distributed to people at medical wellness visits. (I am a physician)

SleepOn App does NOT work

SleepOn App does not work. Tech support does not address issues. Don’t waste your money.

Think twice

Instructions are vague. I have had my unit a week and am not able to get it to work. I’m not sure how it works, but I wish I could call a number and get someone to help me. Apparently that’s not possible.😡

Above expectations

I’m really impressed with this device. It’s very detailed. I get detailed report of REM, light and deep sleep without a membership. I only wanted a sleep tracker so I sent back Oura ring because I knew I wasn’t going to pay membership year after year and it was just going to end up in jewelry box.

Very impressed

Compared it with other tools and this one is by far the best. It is easy to wear , accurate and the app is amazing . The data available is great and useful

Worth the small investment

I recently started wearing the SLEEPON ring. So far I love it especially when I am concerned about sleep hygiene since I workout 6 days a week & I wanted to make sure I am recovering well. It was easy to figure out everything was straightforward as far as set up etc. Shipping was quick and I definitely recommend this product.

The best sleep monitor if you want the raw data!

finchrambleon on

I tried several different sleep monitors to help with health issues. Sleepon is the only one that will give you all the raw data easily and in an easy to use format! There are some quirks to it but for the price and no subscription I think it’s very fair. Here’s what I’ve noticed: 1. The oxygen levels seem low. Like I’ve never had 100% oxygen, ever. Typically 90-97% is what I’ll have but I’ve seen it drop to 80 or below when I have an apnea event. So I don’t know. It seems like it starts lower than it should but it does document the drop. So it serves the purpose. 2. You MUST open the app and sync the data daily or you may lose data. It’s annoying but again, it’s a free service and the least expensive device. 3. Sleep stages are off or unreliable. All the devices I tried disagreed on sleep stages so I can’t say for sure sleepon is wrong. But it does identify when I’m awake properly. So again it seems to serve the purpose. Most notably, sleepon will show awake and deep sleep fairly accurately. It’s the other stages that it can’t tell. 4. The movement tracking is accurate. It has shown nocturnal seizures with a combination of heart rate changes, blood oxygen level drops and movement. This is one of the main reasons I was trying to track my sleep and this was the only device that worked. When combined with a sound recording app, I can definitely confirm my suspicion. (Sometimes you aren’t sure you had a seizure in your sleep) 5. You have to charge it every day if you want to be sure the battery will last a full night. Sometimes it will make it two nights. But I think this is reasonable will how it’s constantly using multiple LEDs taking measurements by the second intervals it uses. It has a LOT more data than other devices that measure every minute or less frequently. 6. The app occasionally logs me out and says it’s because it’s logged in to too many devices. I think this is just a bug due to session expiration or an update to the app. Not sure but it doesn’t seem to indicate a hacker stealing your data. Anyways, the accuracy has been as good as other monitors I tried at the same time but included much more detail. For example I wore sleepon with an apple and Garmin watch at the same time while using a sleep alarm clock that recorded sound. They mostly matched up with their numbers but sleepon provided more detailed measurements in an easy to read graph. You can then export the data as a csv on your computer for analysis. This led to me discov

Faulty battery, poor support

TecNav on

United States

When the device works, it is great, just as advertised. The SleepOn app is also satisfactory. However, my device stopped charging after about three months; contacted support (difficult to communicate, possibly based in China), no resolution after numerous emails, they just try to sell you replacement chargers and devices, horrific customer care filled with cliché customer service nonsense. So, if you want to spend over $100 for about 3 months (maybe longer, maybe shorter)of functionality, this sleep tracker may work for you, it didn’t for me.
