Have to pay to use my printer wasted money on ink buying another brand

What a rip off

They wanted a considerable amount of money to use the app with my printer. Total waste of time and I won’t be buying another HP product any time soon.

What a Con

This is such a con just trying to get my printer connected and told to get this app and now want £40 for a life time subscription, I don’t want a subscription I can buy my own ink paper,all I want to do is get connected

I’m sure HP wouldn’t have launched a pup on the market and I recognise the 2700 is inexpensive and comes with the excellent service that supplies you with ink when yours is about to run out (try getting the cartridges in the shops though!). However, I’ve.spent hours trying to connect the printer to my Wi-Fi AND to allow Direct printing from mobile devices and an iPad. These are two separate channels of communication. To work on your iPad, say, you need Wi-Fi but once you have produced a printable item you need to put the printer into Direct printing mode AND connect to another Wi-Fi source on your iPad. Somehow it seems to me you have to reboot your printer in the process. No doubt there’s an easier way.

This is falsely advertised as the HP smart app on Google but it isn’t the official app!

Absolute scam

I was unable to proceed with printer set up unless I gave you my bank details to set up a trial plan. This printer is a company employer purchase so I shouldn’t have to give you my current account details. It was also difficult to set up because it wasn’t advised to put Bluetooth on.

Says it supports all printers but does not

Bought app to use to print documents, it cant find printer at all. Same network just does not work.
