As the others have pointed out: completely useless as an international guest, as you have to have an American phone number to activate a smartrip account. Please fix!

This app is an OPTIONAL tool that allows you to manage your SmarTrip® card and account. This app can NOT be used to pay your transit or parking fares. You do NOT need to setup a SmarTrip account to use SmarTrip in Apple Wallet.
Add SmarTrip to Apple Wallet:
- Open Apple Wallet on iPhone or Apple Watch
- Tap “+”, choose “Transit Card”, select “SmarTrip”
- In less than a minute you’ll have a new SmarTrip card in your Apple Wallet and be ready to tap to pay for rides or parking anywhere SmarTrip is accepted.
If you need to do account management, then:
- Install this optional SmarTrip app to register your card for account balance protection, check SmartBenefits, setup Auto-Reload, or buy money-saving unlimited transit passes.

Für Urlauber wertlos.
Ein Account mit amerikanischer mobile phone number ist zum Nutzen Pflicht. Also einfach wertlos diese App für internationale Urlauber.
Totaler Schrott
Selbst mit amerikanischer Anschrift und Kreditkarte ist diese App eine abstruse Beleidigung für jede Person die einfach unkompliziert den ÖPNV benutzen möchte. Schrecklich

Erlaubt nur amerikanische Bummern/Adressen also kann sie im deutschen App Store auch gleich gelöscht werden
Völlig nutzlos
Als Tourist völlig nutzlos. Mit den erforderlichen Angaben zu Land, Straße, ZIP-Code, etc. unbrauchbar.
Nicht wirklich smart
Um die digitale SmarTrip Card zu nutzen benötigt man eine amerikanische Kreditkarte und Telefonnummer. Nicht wirklich smart für Internationale Besucher.
Only for U.S. citizens?
Bad job! Why do I need to have an U.S. cellphone or an U.S. address to use this app? The smarTrip card never required me to be American…
