Fantastic app, easy to use and edit. Would be great if you could highlight chords in different colours or draw/write notes on the page

I looked at several similar programs before buying Songbook ChordPro and I’m glad I did. No advertising, no badgering for credit cards, no subscription, just a solid useful app. It’s not 100% perfect but better than the rest. Being able to show both guitar and piano chord diagrams was a big attraction. It takes a short while to realise that you have to add your own songs via text or ChordPro formatted files but that turns out to be a plus. A very large number of chord sites have files that are just wrong. You can find a reasonable version somewhere, copy and paste into Songbook and then edit the errors in the app.

What do you mean it is taken on

Has some limitations, I have it on three devises an iPad, iMac and windows 10. On the iPad it will only print in landscape, on the iMac I can not for the love of me find how to edit a song, the lyrics are large and the chord is very small I can not find a way to reverse that. On windows 10 it just will not print at all. Another fault, on the iPad if the iPad is touched just slightly the song will jump to the end no matter where you are in it. The program is different on each devise, the control and settings are different on each device so I will only give it two stars.

Really Great App

Had a problem recently where it was quitting soon after start up because I had some multi-page PDFs in the library that were causing a memory crash... but since I removed those files from my Dropbox everything seems to work fine again. This is a really great app, has terrific functionality. Love the easy editing, transposing, organising playlists, and live scrolling. I have over 700 songs and use this app all the time. It’d be good if the trashcan delete symbol wasn’t so close to the symbol for editing song order, I’ve accidentally hit that a few times when reordering playlists. There’s also sometimes a glitch when inputting chord symbols sometimes it forgets to close the square bracket and I have to do it manually... but generally the interface is really easy and great for fast edits. Really useful tab creating feature as well. Well recommended.
