Rearranging tasks is super easy, so there’s no guilt or additional work if you don’t get everything done. Just push it to another day or time and it waits for you. It does rely on you adding and scheduling the tasks in the first place, but this is so quick to do that it actually ends up being something you want to do. It really does rely on the scheduling aspect to work as intended, so don’t ignore that feature as optional. Timely reminders help keep you motivated! Two features I’d like to see added: Shared Lists: for joint responsibilities. E.g. plan a day of garden chores that you and your partner can both see and work through. Brief monthly stats on tasks completed, accessed separately from the rest of the app so you can see trends and completion by tags, heat maps of time tasks are most commonly scheduled for or highest concentration of task completion. This can help identify good times to plan tasks to be completed and good times to leave free for a break, for example. The UI is wonderful to interact with, intuitive, and does exactly what I would wish it to do. It doesn’t try to get in my way by forcing a structure on you, letting me schedule and organise tasks freely. An all-round great app. One feature I would really really love is to have location notifications for my tasks. Ideally this would mean that I could set a task with a reminder that would only trigger once I arrive at a certain location. Could also be really useful to let the user set the boundary around the location where it might be triggered, to help cover larger areas. Excellent one off price if you decide to update and I did that after a couple of days of use. -- Billgrams, 2024-07-04 ### ****- "For coping with pain" Yes, I’m glad to have downloaded this app for its flexibility, although it’s early days and I’m stilll learning some features. It’s definitely better than just a to-do list on a planner. The built-in breaks are particularly helpful-see below. I’ve had a good planner for years, able to make to-do lists and even become quite good at prioritising previously. However also good at dithering, procrastinating and becoming bogged down in detail! And can’t do numbers; so always struggled with the actual practical scheduling. Then I have the added problem of chronic pain; it wrecks any schedule both at the start - how long to assign when you have to keep taking mini breaks to recover from even a few minutes of a task? And throughout as the day unfolds, if a task causes too much pain and you have to stop altogether. This is a subject rarely addressed by articles or websites on procrastinating, time management, or declutterring , very surprising considering how many people chronic pain affects worldwide. The only book that even mentioned just said ‘get it sorted out’ as if there was a magic wand. Of course there are some things doctors can’t fix! But this app appears to have the flexibility to cope with constant dropping/rescheduling tasks, and being realistic. Turns out it also helps ‘kick-start’ me into next task:) I like that there are colours and other features, as I sort mentally by colour, though I haven’t used yet. I’m hoping the app willl ‘teach’ me scheduling so eventually I won’t have to keep referring to it quite so much. Really unimpressive. The watch app is not useful. It shows tasks only and not any imported calendar events, what’s the point of this really? Light mode should be light mode, why is the side bar still dark? Like yes aesthetic but it’s not accessible, not everyone is able to use dark mode, it makes things very difficult to read, especially since the sidebar is not collapsible, you cannot hide this huge dark section. Please fix this and implement a true light mode for the app, it’s not accessible to some users and not collapsing the sidebar makes things over complicated and cannot focus only on what is the focus for the day, instead you’re looking at all the distractions to the side. Calendar import also imported duplicate events with no way to undo the sync so have to manually delete every duplicate which is just insanely tedious. Once you start to lose confidence that your list of tasks may not be up to date/complete its hard to get that confidence back. I got bored with forcing syncs and resetting devices. I have read about complaints with iCloud sync on the Web so maybe they need to implement ther own sync technology, a home server plugin or at least a quick way to resync over bluetooth with the latest db version Sorry -
