Not good for personal use
I used to use this to help with moving, but it’s no longer useful for this. The limitations are too strict, and pricing is extreme for personal use.
Yes, Sortly is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
⚠️ The Sortly app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.

I did like it but they have pushed to the business only model and made it too expensive for personal use where you’re not recovering your cost.
They made it impossible to cancel the subscription. This practice feels incredibly predatory and unacceptable. It demonstrates a lack of respect for your customers' autonomy and time. As a result, I have lost trust in Sortly's commitment to customer satisfaction and transparency.
This app needs to be updated immediately
but it doesn’t work right on iPad can’t sign in or upload photos
I love this app. I have a cookie business and it helps me to see and keep up my cutters and stencils that I use constantly.
An excellent ap for keeping track of what’s in each box.
CAUTION!! We are a home staging business and our first year subscription was $1,068 for the Ultra plan we were told 11 days prior to the annual renewal the subscription would now be $2,700/yr. The Ultra Plan currently is being advertised as including 10,000 entires, 25 custom fields, and 5 user licenses for $708/yr. We are using 3,098 entires (5,381 units, we have duplicates) and 3 fields, and just added our 5th user in our last month of the 12 month plan. There is no way we would have known our plan would increase! We are far under the number of allotted entries and fields. When I requested more information about the rate increase via email we were told “We are in the process of reconfiguring our plans.” Sortly will not be adding any additional features or options to justify the increase. And while I could go on about the app and the lack of features and ease of use - save yourself the trouble and sign up with Stageforce. They have been in business for over 20 years and have an excellent track record. I have never heard of a company that would days before their annual renewal increase their subscriptions by over 250%. We initially chose Sortly because we prioritized the ability to scan with our phones vs needing RFID tags and scanners. Huge mistake! The items need to be searched by manually typing the item name. The scanning is limited to one folder at a time and multiple steps are needed to change the folder to scan. It’s really disappointing that we invested so much time integrating our business to use their system. For a year we overlooked their shortcomings but charging 2.5x more for an inadequate system is too far. Hopefully, you take our advice and this doesn’t happen to you too.
The tabs are no longer available which you would use to put in descriptions of item on how it can be used. Bummer! Not happy!
Make sure if you sign up for free trial you cancel. I downloaded this app tried to use it and it wasn’t up to par for my needs. I ended up using box hero which is free on the basic and more user friendly. I was charged $54 dollars for downloading this app, attempting to use and forgetting to cancel. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
