“Device cannot be located at the moment” seems to be the default message when school gets out. Didn’t they buy enough tokens for satellite/network time? Can’t depend on their clunky software & network.

I went to wet and wild and the watch I turned it on underwater and we had to get it fixed and I got it back but the memory is gone and I’m sad that the memories I had is gone but big lesson learned don’t turn the watch underwater and turn the watch off before you put it underwater

This is aimed at parents with young children. Yet almost all times we want to check in on the whereabouts of the watch, it’s ’out of range’ or ‘not able to update’ This is poor by todays standards when all other phones are capable of providing up to date information.

Purchased this so we could use the location tracking on it but it worked for about 6 weeks then, issues everytime you want to check location. Ended up using the school bus app for location tracking and that works great. Also sick of the upsells from SpaceTalk:(

Hard to set up. Terrible instructions. It’s 2024. Slow and unresponsive screen. Tiny buttons. Overall, massive disappointment. Not worth it. Look elsewhere. How does this even make it through product development to sale? Impossible to cancel.

I recently upgraded my daughter’s watch to the Adventurer 2. The location on demand function does not work. Emailing support results in complete silence. What has happened to Spacetalk? Completely disappointed.

I returned the Loop watch that I purchased 5 weeks ago and requested a refund. As I purchased the Loop watch for my daughter to wear to school, although the texts are limited to preset texts which is very clumsy and the biggest disappointment is that the battery does not even last the full school day which makes the watch useless. Which is disappointing as I had previously purchased a Spacetalk Adventurer 2 watch that has been mostly good. Also since returning the Loop watch I have now found that I will need to forfeit the remainder of the Spacetalk 365 day wearable plan that I had purchased as the SIM card cannot be used in a phone. The only way I can continue to use the 365 day plan is to purchase another Spacetalk watch product which is not fair trading and should not be allowed. I will not be purchasing another Spacetalk product.

It works as a phone and for messaging but recently notification alerts have stopped working properly - wear alerts happen in the middle of the night, notifications occur as pop ups but then cannot be found in the app and the notifications list has stopped since 27 January 2024. This needs to be fixed Spacetalk!

Just purchased the Adventurer 2 for our 9 year old. The watch is quite pricey but it is great quality. We waited until it was on sale. The monthly app subscription and sim plan are definitely higher than what we were expecting so we are trialing it at this stage. It’s a great first step before a mobile phone. The features and limitations are great. The app itself is not the easiest to set up. We are pretty IT savvy and it wasn’t clear in some parts. Notifications are a problem. Beware using the chat function - There are no notifications sent to your phone app when you receive one, nor is there a little red 1 notification next to the app if there is one waiting like all other apps. My son had sent a chat message to me multiple times however I had no idea. Spacetalk - please update this! The other thing that would be useful is if the user of the watch misses a call, text or chat that the notification stays on the home screen - again calls, texts and chats are missed unless they physically swipe and check each icon on their phone.
