Spark: Chords, Backing Tracks

A fantastic idea in principle but so glitchy. The app randomly freezes or refuses to change presets - or just shuts down. It also refuses to connect on occasion and will not re-pair via Bluetooth. Buy a Line6 or Boss Katana instead.

So many great features to the App, not only is it great to have a small portable practice amp (the Go and the 40) but on the app I have access to so many pedals and sounds PLUS! I can add my Apple Music library and it will analyse the songs so that I can play along! I LOVE that feature. It’s well worth buying at least one spark and having a go, I think you will love it, just ordered another one for a friend

Got the spark 2 for my birthday and the amp sounds great but the app won’t let me sign up so some of the features won’t work, have tried 3or 4 different emails but keeps saying email already exists. Please any suggestions would be appreciated thanks, Scott

I am having major issues with my spark 2 I can’t even select a different tone within the app unless I select it twice it just doesn’t switch instantly I have to select the tone above, the one that I want, and then the tone the I want again for it to select I can’t even save to hardware presets it gives me the option to save it to a channel but doesn’t save I’ve even had issues doing an update keeps asking me to use power cable when I have one connected I also have a red symbol over the battery icon in settings I am really disappointed with it. To be honest I’ve even messaged positive grid sent photographs and videos of the issue and they’ve not got back to me explaining anything really disappointed

Everything was great until the most recent update then my tones all reverted back to the original setting where people are using far too much gain or not enough volume on a clean amp then the set the noise gate far too aggressive to combat the gain but instead that just kills the note before it has rang out, but in the recent update i’ve noticed more clipping on my spark go and in the searches for tones on the cloud it prioritises irrelevant meta data e.g search for appetite for destructon and it will return everything with the word for in it something which most search engines ignore, and in the case i got acoustic for dave in the top 5, My hardware preset tones have changed too spark has done something but a lot of my regular tones sound different. Can’t wait to get round to plugging in my Marshall Silver Jubilee in again.

App works really well but I want to use this split screen so I can change tracks on YouTube or Apple Music whilst interacting with my pedal board, but the spark app doesn’t seem to allow this ? Please fix as this is a killer app if so

My two boys (aged 12 and 13) are mad keen on guitar, so I bought them a spark amp to practice on thinking it would be a great practice and learning tool. Mistake. Why? Because they can’t download the app because of the age rating of 17+. Why on earth is it rated so high? It’s just an app for an amplifier! Why exclude an age group who could probably benefit the most from this amazing product?

I have the go, mini and have a pre-order for the spark 2. Love the tones but the app needs updating to support user defined preset lists . This way users could create they own presets for multiple set lists for example. Users could also store presets under their own customisable genres such as reggae or jazz 😃

Apparently my "access token" has expired and now I can't log in to use features such as playing Spotify through the amp. No verification email is sent after request... life is too short to waste hours problem solving tech issues
