Not much more to say than that this is a one-time payment for a well designed program that satisfies my reading needs. A ray of hope in the seemingly endless ocean of services. I'm grateful that I can now rely on a reliable reading aid to assist me in reading any book. I would always give-up since reading even a single chapter would take forever to get through. Thank you so much for providing such a high-quality product.

Thanks for making this app- I love so many of the features, and it being free/single purchase is just the cherry on top.

This app can use Apple‘s bulit in TTS, but only those old voices is available, I prefer the Siri voice which sounds much more natural.

(This is my first app review in 15 years😱) As a student that’s also working full time I needed a way to read textbooks and articles more efficiently. I tried about 10 different apps before finding this gem!! I appreciated that it was simple to use, and you can always get upgraded/more natural sounding voices w/ OpenAi’s pay-as-you-go tokens (or microsoftAI). Dear developer, I super appreciate you, and also appreciate what you’re doing for the community in giving back to those with visual impairments. From one human to another, thank you for existing, truly!!!

I keep plugging the key in, and it doesn’t work. There are no instructions indicating what I might be doing wrong. And even the fallback voices for it are not working.

Shockingly good and it allows you to use your own api

This app is simple & easy, solving my no-audiobook challenges, as well as any other type of document I have needed on audio. I easily move Apple books over to listen to them. It’s a bit behind on the voice AI, but functional. I can listen and drive or listen & rest; any number of options that are helpful.

I use this app a lot for my school readings. Overall the scanner is not great, but works most of the time. The voices are fine and can be adjusted quite well. I’m quite happy with the app for the price, but have run into some issues that has made my experience not great. Some annoying issues: There’s a setting that allows you to turn off reading things in parenthesis, but my reader still reads everything in parenthesis despite my many attempts to get this to work. Lately I’ve also been running into this issue where every other minute my reader says something like “grade equals 2” and then reads the next sentence at a super slow pace. If someone at speech central reads this please look into these issues! Thank you!
