REMOVAL OF STARWARS APP
REMOVING STARWARS SPHERO APP JUST MAKES US MANY LOSE TRUST AND INTEREST IN THE COMPANY, YOU NEED TO BRING IT BACK!!
R2-D2 reduced to lame duck
Sphero are no longer providing the app that makes the R2-D2 do all the cool Star Wars moves, tricks, sounds and play along with the movie whilst you watch. The new Sphero Edu app doesn’t do a fraction of what the old app does with regards to Star Wars related things. It doesn’t even do the signature R2 beep beep bop. They have really dropped the ball on the millions of kids they claim to have sold these devices to on the legacy page of their website. My son is so disappointed. Shame on you.
They have taken down the Star Wars app
I'm giving Sphero a one star rating who has taken down the Star Wars droid app from the App Store which effectively made the Force Band and the R2 droid that I had obsolete. This is a warning for anyone who's thinking of buying a Sphero product

A very good and fun way of learning the basics of programming. The block mode (drag and drop) itself provides access to a powerful range of controls, and the ease of switching from block mode to text mode is wonderful for anyone wanting to go deeper.

I successfully made an account but when I made my sister one it made all sorts of stupid excuses and same for google account option
Reinstall to fix IOS 18.3 Crash
Even though kept updated, when trying to run it under IOS 18.3, it would not open, crashing. Reinstalling fixed it.
The worst app
I got a sphere a few years ago and now it doesn’t work what a disappointment
