Spotify for Artists

This app only started acting up latter part of this year. Today on the app no releases or pending releases are visible. Support staff are not fixing or being honest about the app not working right. I asked that it be reported as broken. But they said to use a different device. They also asked to send the song release UPCs which I said is an unreasonable request as there’s over 100 songs. I have tried everything but whatever I do is useless. The app is broken!

This is actually a really good app. A lot of the other ratings I find unjust. The stats this gives are amazing, updating once a day to tell you every stream you’ve had really right down to the city it was streamed in. It tells you the gender of your listeners, aswell as many other stats. It is really easy to claim your artist, comparing to Amazon who still haven’t approved my claim after about 3 months, Spotify claim really quickly. The only reason I’ve not given this5 stars is because it has a live reading where it tells you the exact streams at that exact moment, and it’s often wrong. Once a day it updates the daily streams per song and for the album, and you suddenly lose tonnes of streams. I contacted their support and they admitted that it’s often wrong. As their systems miscount, but the daily updates are always correct. So I’ve had to learn to ignore the live updates, as their accuracy can’t be trusted. As someone who only has 1 song over 1000 and none of the others are even approaching it, I was witnessing the live updates being out by hundreds. People on high streams must be out by a hell of a lot. Another mark down is that this app for me hasn’t had an official daily update in nearly 2 days. And the live stream update has frozen for the last 15 odd hours. So something isn’t working on it but there is nothing telling me this. I’ve therefore taken this down to 3 stars solely due to the app underperforming, but the design and layout and what the app actually offers would be a 5 star for me, if it was ever working as it should.

Used to be a really good way of seeing what kind of people enjoy your music and what artists they listen to alongside you to get an idea of what people like about your music but ever since they have limited the types of playlists you can see, it has become a pretty useless app.

Hello team, When I tried to log in with Spotify for artist, everytime it takes to my browser page to enter credentials, its stops there… I can able logon with my credentials in Laptop, why not in mobile ? Need immediate fix..

Gosh guys you put some stuff like cookies and privacy over the submit button so I literally can’t press it on my iPhone 12 iOS 17.5.1 Fab

Hey! Spotify team! This app use to work great, it was user friendly had useful features was really nice to use. However, after an update to the app, it’s now entirely ceased working, I have an older iPhone but run the most up to date version of IOS, it seems unfair to price people out who previously had no problems. I’m not even able to instal an older version of the app and when you open the app the message you’re greeted with it “please update this version of the app to continue” it then puts you in an infinite loop between the App Store and the app with no ability to update. Please please someone fix this issue and I hope they see this in your team and listen. Spotify for artists help contact are unable to assist with this matter and simply describe it as a “live issue with our systems” however it’s been months and no fix!

It won’t load at all unless you delete and reinstall the app; even then it only works once. Please sort ASAP.

Every other app is fixing bugs constantly. Your app doesn’t even load for more than a week now, with no bug fixes. If I delete the app and reinstall it then it works the first time I open it, but then it won’t load again after that. Your app could be amazing, but if it won’t even load up then it’s the worst app on here.
