I updated the app and for a while, thought I had lost all previous purchases. Received a very prompt reply to my query. All working fine within a few hours. My favorite way of exploring a new (or sometimes well known city) and has been for several years now.
Well it’s not working
Always find delightful gems through this app. Only downside? The map misses basic landmarks that are critical to orientale yourself in a new city (e.g major rail stations), so you end up using multiple map / transport apps in combination. Would be perfect if that could be fixed. Oh, and more photos please.
This is a really great app to use when you’re new to a city and you want up to date, insider recommendations on the best places to visit. You’ll skip the crowds and tourist queues and traps and head straight to places where locals actually go. The Spotted by Locals app works especially well in cities like Beirut, where information online isn’t always readily available or accurate.
Used the app for trips to Lisbon, Porto and also in my home city of London. It came up with some great suggestions that were unique..
Such an awesome way to get around Berlin. I felt like I understood the city so much better.
£3.99 per city. Forget it
A great concept well done. An easy app to use and a cheap price to pay to find the best spots a city offers, chosen by those who actually live there.
The download of the app is free but then it costs 3.99£ to explore each city.
