Square continues to wow me with new solutions that make our job easier. My customers are also always impressed with th hardware technology we have … which was not expensive.
I love paying for merchant fees only on transactions without a hefty monthly add on fee.

App Doesn’t allow Payments to be recorded after version 6.47
Does not allow us to it currently doesn’t allow us record payments after we updated to the latest version and now we cannot continue making sales. Please fix this.

Terrible connection
I have been using this app and square reader for over a year now and it just has so many connection issues. I got this so my clients could have the convenience of using their card but there is no convenience when the device randomly wont connect. Not even for just a few minutes. This will go on for hours or the entire day.
When I first started having this problem Square’s support said buy their Gen 2 device. So I did. Made no difference. I have disconnected all other blue tooth devices. I have gone through their steps to get it to connect so many times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled their app. I have tried multiple square apps. I have tried reaching out multiple times. I even have someone I know in IT try and help me figure it out. The Square tap / insert reader just wont stop bugging out and not connecting. It’s always a “ reader issue “.
I have tried and tried to make it work but I think I’m going to go to Clover or a similar service. Square just isn’t convenient for me. Instead of getting pay from my clients, I have to send them an invoice and hope that they pay me later. My clients are good people thank goodness but I don’t need that type of risk and stress in my life.
If it works for you I am so happy for you. But if you experience this issue too and have tried everything, know you are not alone.
Need proper update notes
Square has been completely ignoring the importance and value of telling us what each app update includes. They use the same boilerplate text with every update. This needs to change!
Microphone??? Why?
My phone doesn’t have a headphone Jack so you don’t need access to my audio. Fix this, I’m not giving permission.
Cannot connect to square terminal
The previous version can. The page on beta version isn’t detailed enough for me to follow. I recommend to update the instructions for how to join beta version.
