Stop with updates no one asked for!!
I’m so horrified and disappointed with Shopify. Their new update is awful. Do yourself a favour and find a different POS. They didn’t give a choice to switch from their old amazing POS and then automatically you had to use the new one which is awful. Taking away the save and retrieve cart feature caused a lot of lost money and business for us. I honestly need to find a better and nicer POS system that treats their customers well. STAY AWAY! Bring back the old Shopify and stop changing things daily!
POS save cart feature removed despite being essential
Without warning, Shopify removed the one click Save & Retrieve Cart feature from the POS. Our staff relied on this for years, and now cashier flow and efficiency and customer experience has been compromised. We’ve tried every manner of communicating with Shopify about how detrimental this decision was and we’re only being gaslight and ignored. If I could give zero stars I would.
Refund/exchange buttons disappear
I have pro plan but the exchange and refund buttons disappear whenever I unlock the screen. It appears again when I relogin. It’s so much work to keep re-logging in for those functions
Sick of no phone number to call
How can such a large POS system not have a phone number to reach. The app has issues frequently and there’s nobody to call when you need assistance. It’s all online, and a virtual assistant isn’t helpful, at all. Considering how much we spend a month on their monthly fees and we cannot even speak to someone when there inevitably issues and bugs to be fixed is the worst e-commerce I’ve seen. Really, should be illegal.
Stopped working as soon as this update was installed
Have to do everything from the PC as the iPad POS is non-functional. Please fix ASAP

I am unimpressed as I’ve had to delete redownload 3-4times, update my phone Deere and re-add 3-4 more times like I don’t know what is wrong and it’s causing stagnancy in my business. Please fix this
Abysmal service
When I joined shopify, I somehow managed to sign up twice under the same email with their confusing system. I was charged for 18 months for an account I NEVER signed into or used. This should be illegal. Shopify support refunded me for 3 months and refused to refund me for the whole amount. They wouldn’t pass me to a supervisor and claimed there’s no method to speak to a human. Only chat. Abysmal service. Do not recommend.
Barcode scanner not working
We continue to have problems with the barcode scanner at location, Shopify blames Socket Mobile, Socket Mobile blames Shopify and so on and on for over a month
Plenty of bugs
This app is garbage and it’s developers are constantly causing crash and slowdowns
