Best and most intuitive app for backing tracks. Great value.

Changed everything!

Does everything we have tried to achieve over the years and it does it all and more…I used to have to create new files in a daw every time I changed key, tempo, order, mixing, collaboration and more.

Lyric and playback functionality meets all my musical needs.

Almost perfect!

Not easy to learn but woo wee this one is worth the effort! It has everything to think of but I can't install my video file backing track!

Pretty limited for true playback routing….UPDATE Below!

Update: The newest version update is an extreme improvement! Now mono channel routing is possible and track count as been increased to 8tracks. Still not as many tracks as I’d like for a fully independent playback system (hence the 4 star update from the original 1 star I left) yet definitely more useable. Once it’s capable of 12-16 tracks per song I will definitely be updating to 5 stars. Original Review: At first I thought this would be everything I needed in order to reduce dependency on a laptop. However once upgrading to the full paid version I quickly realized it was a waste of money for true playback routing. Let me explain. By default the app allows 6 tracks. I had assumed more track options would open up with the paid version, I was wrong. Then came the biggest disappointment… when I finally finished creating dumbed down tracks to meet the 6 track limitation into playlists for nearly 80 songs and arriving to the rehearsal space to connect to the playback interface, I was extreme displeased to see only ST3 only having 3 pair of stereo sends and an additional stereo send out the headphone jack. Not even the ability to send a mono click, guide track, or timecode to a mono channel output. This is extremely limiting when using a redundant setup through a 10 to 24 channel playback system.

Fantastic app for gigging musicians!

Stage Traxx 3 solves about 98% of the problems I have playing in a small acoustic duo. Very well thought out, full featured, and a bargain compared to competitive apps. Thanks, Peter!

I can’t believe it!

Very seldom do you find something so amazing that’s almost free. I would expect that this software would be a monthly subscription. It does everything (and more) that I need as a solo musician. Great software that deserves 6 stars. The facebook ST3 page is so incredible as well. Ask a question and within minutes, another ST3 user will answer and get you back on track. It’s a fantastic group.
