Description

The Steam Link app brings desktop gaming to your iPhone or iPad. Just pair an MFI or Steam controller to your device, connect to a computer running Steam on the same local network, and start playing your existing Steam games.

Requirements:
* iPhone or iPad using iOS 11.0 or higher
* Computer running Steam - Windows, Mac, or Linux
* iOS device must be on the same local network as the computer running Steam

For best performance:
* Connect your computer using Ethernet to your 5Ghz WiFi router
* Connect your iOS device to the 5GHz band of your WiFi network
* Keep your iOS device within a reasonable range of your router

Network issues

It was working completely fine. Idk if its cuz of recent update, i now have network issues and spikes

Layout resets

It was working fine 1 month ago, but now everytime I play the same game my layout resets.

Can’t play at all

It seems to connect to my computer just fine, but the moment I press “Start Playing” it causes my Steam client on my computer to exit and re-open to “Updating Steam”. It makes no sense.

Perfect…almost

Have been trying this for remote play together with my friends and this works amazingly well. One I thing I would like to see though is maybe an ability to save on-screen controller configs across game? Would be epic

Driver installation is no longer supported on Big Sur Macs

Unable to even play anything.

Remote play with friends, button problems

It was working ok, until i join my friends remote play. I lost my “a” “b” “x” “y” buttons. They were replaced with “page up” “page down” “enter” “ESC” buttons, and i can’t change it all. This stupid error made this app completely pointless. You still need a console controller if want to play remotely from your computer with online friends. Some of the controls are also not working properly. so I will put this rating for 2 instead of 3 stars.

Unusable

Even in local lan, it lags so badly its not usable. Any remote desktop app works better in 4G, then this app in wifi lan setup.

Not smooth

Hard to control, Chrome remote is better to use.

App crashed.

Can’t even open the app. Any advise?

With the new update, Does not open anymore - immediately crashes
