Cannot paste in password
A primary method of security is to use 1Password or lastpass and have long random passwords. But StG app won't let me paste in my password. Incredibly strange decision by StG engineering/security teams.

Makes checking my balances, transferring money, and paying bills easy. I would hate to live without it.
Very poor app. Not at all intuitive and locks up.
The app does everything I need it to... The fingerprint login is great - although it does stop working sometimes and I have to reinstall the app.
Makes being away easier.

This app is horrible for Internet banking. St George need to get their act together and offer an in app solution like other major banks instead of pushing out to safari.
A mess of native app and web pages accessed via the app that kind of work sometimes. But mostly don’t. Sometimes you’re getting logged out to use a feature. Or documents simply don’t download and you have to kill the app because there’s no timeout. Or you reopen it after doing something else and it’s just a white screen. Feels like a bunch of project managers have utterly failed to comprehend how a banking app should work. Update: the developers response, suggesting I “uninstall and reinstall the app” is hilariously telling about how the app is managed by St George. I’m criticising the app and its UX guys. It’s a badly written app, not an issue logging in or some cache needing clearing.
After the Update to IOS 18.1.1, the STG App no longer functions correctly on an iPad Pro (12.9 6th Gen) Will bomb out when trying to execute many of the functions including attempting to transfer to a payee account making the app unusable
Recently moved from ubank to.St George and I cannot believe how backwards some of the apps and security standards are. To not be able to use a special character in the passwords is unbelievable poor and I am appalled that St George / Westpac thinks that is an acceptable standard.
